Wasn't sure what to expect coming to stay for 1 night for the Euros, but was really pleasantly surprised by my stay at Zum armen Mann. Nicely furnished for the size (even made space for a smart TV in compact room), quiet at night, comfortable, a spacious bathroom and shower (it is "external" from the room, but completely private with simple lock & key), and friendly staff working there. Everything was quick and fuss free, from check-in, to a personal breakfast set up specially in the morning. Much appreciated! Would definitely recommend to single travellers stopping by in Düsseldorf.

Close to the airport, right next the tram, and clean. The toilet is spacious and the room is comfortable. Very close to the bus stop that takes you to the airport.

I didn't mind since I was going early to the airport, but if you are staying more than one night, you will hear the noise from airplanes taking off in the early morning.

The location is absolutely brilliant! You may think oh is that it, but it's such a very amazing place to stay for B&B 👍 The U79 can take you anywhere you fancy and time tables were on the wall to the left near the entrance door! Very kind and friendly hosts, clean, simple but beautiful ❤️ I took their Details with and I definitely stay there again! It's very secure and instructions are given on how to obtain your key if you should arrive after 23.00 pm! If you booked a transfer from Düsseldorf Airport the driver will wait downstairs in Arrivals after collecting your luggage! In case you take cabin luggage only with you don't exit for cabin luggage but go to luggage collection and then exit Arrivals 🛬 transfer will wait for you there! I can't fault anything! I was so thankful to have a lovely place to stay after a very long day of travelling! If you want to make hot drinks etc or a drink please ask the owner to provide this to have a kettle in your Room etc! A fridge is in there as well to keep things cold! I so recommend "Zum Armen Mann" and I look forward to stay there again next flying out ✈️ to Germany 👌🥰

Very good location, near airport and 20 min by feet to Mercury Arena. Basic, but very clean, in the nice street with trees.

The planes take off direct over the hotel, so it is very noisy. If you would like to sleep longer, you should have ear plugs.

Good location if you are going to the exhibitions - which was my case, also close to the airport, public transport, some restaurants ...

Even though I expected it, taking off or landing planes may bother some people ...

Everything was perfect, the bedroom was enough for 1 person and both the bedroom and the bathroom were immaculate. I love everything here!

The place is near the airport so sometimes it might be noisy

Airport means planes overhead but you can close windows. Bed could have been better as I am a heavy person

Couldn't pay at the counter with credit card, bcs lady had no expiriance how to use app. Funny! =) Didn't recieve reciept for the paid cash breakfst in 4 days (left there at 23rd) - until today 27.06.2022! Stuff should know how to print invoice at the counter and use the CC app.

Great Hotel/Bar, exceptional staff, traveled there for a concert and were super happy, everything was cozy. Highly recommend as a stay in DD for a concert or any other activity, budget was reasonable

Young lady who was front of house etc etc was super helpful and cheery. Ideally placed for the airport early morning flights. Accomodation is basic but comfortable enough.

Having to get up at 330am, but that's not the hotel's fault.
