There was self check-in. I didn't even have to go to the reception. I got my key with the code given and accessed my room directly. The soundproofing was good. I can say the location is perfect, in the middle of nature and in a neighborhood with cute little houses.

While being close to the airport can be an advantage in some cases, it also has a disadvantage. The sounds of airplanes can be very noisy during the day, but of course they don't fly in the evening. Another issue is that my bed was squeaking. It's not very disturbing, but of course it's better not to have such an event.

15 minute walk to the England vs Switzerland game in the Arena Dussledorf and about an hour walk straight into the heart of Dusseldorf down the rhine, friendly staff, clean room, free water on arrival and very quiet at night which is exactly what you want!

Although the planes are only allowed to operate between 5am-11pm you are right under the flight path and by right under I mean they're 20ft above your room, also the S-Bahn was a bit of a walk (about 15 mins, mostly flat) and there really isn't alot todo around the area especially on a Sunday where everything is closed!

Very conveniently located if you are just transiting through Dusseldorf and a need a night or two in. Quiet neighbourhood to walk around, has enough utilities around if you’re just there a short stay. Facilities are clean, check-in/out is contactless, hassle-free and easy. Perfect for a quiet sleep before or after a long flight.

Stairs could be a challenge if you have a heavy piece of luggage on you.

Very good breakfast. Not far from airport and walking distance to my place of meeting. Very sweet and helpful Ukrainian girl on reception. Clean bedsheets.

During the night I was freezing for some period of time. Heat exchanger from time to time was cold.

Sounds protection between rooms. Too noisy of neighbors. You can hear every movement and every world. Wish to get a bottle of 0,5 L still-water every day.

Checkin process very smooth, very friendly staff. You get very good value for money, the cost of accomodation is very low and what you get back is more than adequate for a night.

Just a warning, that the hotel lies directly under the landing route of Düsseldorf airport. Great for spotting airplanes, but they are very loud here ! The landing seems to stop around 10.30 pm though, so if you don't go to bed earlier than that, it's not an issue.

Clean, big and bright room. Only 1 min away from bus station to Düsseldorf airport. Check in and check out were smooth. Although no lift available, the staffs helped us to bring our luggage upstairs 😄

Neat and clean

Nothing wrong with the room which was clean, quaint and comfortable for a 1 night stay, but it is on the flight path so you hear the planes taking off and landing.

we travel a lot on business and everz time when we are in Düsseldorf we choose Messeschlaf hotel as it is a place which corresponds our demands: a hospitable and friendly team, convenient location near the Messe Dusseldorf and an excellent breakfast. All questions can be soved quickly and without problems.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating and will help you in any way they can. Thank you very much I stayed here for two nights and three days. I am really satisfied thank you and I will come back again ❤️☝️
