Nice friendly hotel. We arrived after check in time but were able to phone and collect the key from a key safe. Room was upstairs and pleasant with ensuite bath and toilet. Everything was clean and tidy. Pleasant 10-15 stroll into the town centre which is lovely with plenty of bars, restaurants, shops.

If you wanted to use the showerhead in the bath, you had to sit down in the bath because of the sloping ceiling. And just a note if you think you might be late for check in - I recommend that you phone ahead rather than email. We did email the property before the day of arrival as we knew we would be arriving later in the evening but they did not respond - fortunately they did answer the telephone when we phoned at 10pm (when our flight landed) so there was no issue finding the key.

Charming traditional hotel w,/ traditional restaurant & Tyrolean dishes. English spoken? I spoke German there, so I didn't really test it much. I imagine they have the skill. Very friendly helpful staff, once they show up (see "not so great" section)

Location: a 20 min walk from the beautiful town square and church, where there are many more offerings of food, shops, very charming views, and the famous Weihenstephaner brewery. Staffing: Check in 16:30, not the usual 15:00. (fine print,) It was really 16:45 (4:45 pm) by the time they got me settled. Monday closed (rstrt). I didn't like sitting on a little bench in the middle of a sparse neighborhood, tired, waiting for someone to show up to ck me in, at an unusually late time.

The room was very clean, although not to the newest standards. However, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Convenient parking is available behind the house, and there's an excellent bakery just across the street, perfect for breakfast. The Gasthaus location is ideal, only a 5-minute walk to Freising's charming old town, making it very convenient for exploring.

The pillow was much too large for me, and there was no hairdryer in the room, although I'm sure one could be provided upon request. Additionally, with the windows open, the street noise was quite noticeable, which is to be expected given the location.

Direct route from railway station - no turns to miss and a kebab restaurant serving cold drinks about halfway. Slight drawback to the walk is that the pavement (beside main road) is also the cycle path. At the hotel, the room had all facilities that I needed including good free internet. The free bottle of water in room was very welcome, and the biscuit on pillow was a lovely touch. The Austrian-themed food they were serving in the evening looked great but I wasn't hungry so did not try it. No breakfast (or staff) at property in the morning, but an excellent bakery across the road that opens at 06:00, serves hot drinks and has tables inside and outside.

Quite close to main road so some traffic noise but did not really disturb my sleep. Slight smell of drains in room on arrival (in very hot weather) but it dispersed.

Good location with regards to distance to the airport and walking distance to the city centre. The restaurant had great local food offers.

Late check-in (after 16:00) and no possibility to meet someone there earlier even if I asked via phone call. Would have been enough to drop-off my luggage, but reservation is not staffed before 16:00. Check-out time if 10:00 was no problem for us as we had to catch a morning flight, but is still on the early side.

Clean, spacious, comfortable bed, next to excellent bakery and fabulous Italian Restaurant. Area is quiet and felt safe.

We came when the hotel restaurant and bar was closed so no staff on site. Had to call the number listed on booking.com and got good instructions on how to get the key. Room only had a tub. Stairs only, no lift, so pack light. Far from airport. Uber is about 40 euros

The hotel is very clean, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, we felt right at home. The rooms are big, beds are comfortable and we had free unlimited WiFi. All the rooms are en suite

I have no complaints, everything was great. If you are coming from the airport I'd recommend using a taxi not public transport.

It was a nice walk into town and close to a bus stop. Easy way to get to the Munich airport without stress the next morning.

The single room was very small. But it was clean and comfortable. The larger rooms online look much nicer.

Late check in with key Tresor made it really convinient for me. Also the check out, I only had to leave the key in the door and the door open. Perfect for quick departure to the airport. Bus stop is very close. In around 25min you get to the airport without being stressed.
