The staff are always friendly, the rooms immaculately clean, good beds and showers. Great location in the middle of Freising's main street

I've stayed in this hotel 3 times now and the breakfast has changed in that time from very generous, to fairly limited and uninteresting. They've also got incredibly mean with the toiletries. A quarter filled small bottle of hand soap for use at the basin AND in the shower plus a quarter filled bottle of shampoo. No conditioner, no shower gel, no moisturiser, no nothing else. Obviously the main things are the bed and the shower and I couldn't fault them but I use to feel a little pampered staying here and now I don't.

The hotel was very a pretty Bavarian style hotel with beautiful stained glass in the breakfast room. The breakfast was fantastic with lots to choose from on the buffet; breads, pretzels, cheeses, jams, fruit, granola Even eggs to order and a nice coffee selection. Freising is an adorable old town, and the hotel was a perfect location with easy walking to the train station. The hotel was very clean, and the rooms were nice.

Everything about this hotel was great! We had an afternoon flight from MUC and we took advantage of staying in Freising the night before. Once we figured out the bus transfer (currently no train), it was easy and inexpensive to get there. A short walk (7 minutes) from the train/bus station leads to a very nice old town area, super clean, lots of shops and restaurants. Epic beer stueben. The location of this hotel is right in the middle of all this! We had one of the larger renovated rooms, which was nicely appointed. Bathroom was spacious, beds very comfortable. Staff was very helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Great value and a wonderful experience in a picturesque Bavarian town. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

That we couldn't have stayed longer! Everything was beyond our expectations.

The location was excellent for an overnight layover enrolee. I took the bus from Munich airport and then hopped at cab, if I had less luggage it would have been easy to walk. Located right on the beautiful wide high street and although it was a Sunday and all the shops were closed it was a wonderful place to stroll, all the families out and about for coffee & cake or gelato. Easy to find restaurants. I had a renovated room and it was perfect for one person with a comfy bed and wonderful bedding! I ordered a taxi through front desk for an early morning flight and although it was late the desk clerk was very helpful and got right on the cab company…she was very concerned and professional. They also included a lovely full breakfast buffet. This was a great value and I would recommend for any solo traveler as you don’t feel isolated at airport but perfectly safe and such a charming village:)

They definitely could use a luggage Porter as the halls are carpeted and very up and down stairs. There is a tiny lift, thank heavens, but pretty typical old architecture, which is soooo charming but not always super easy..still worth the small inconvenience.

The location!!!! Close to the airport for easy in and out — just a train ride away from Oktoberfest (so easy!!) and the town was delightful, lots of shops, coffee shops, bakeries, and a fabulous ice cream shop just 1 block away. The breakfast (included) was lovely, especially the yogurt & granola bar :) Also, the had a downstairs fridge stocked with wonderful beers (€2.50) ice cold, plus bottles of wine and snacks. We could not have been happier with our choice to stay here! Also — the desk clerk(s) were so helpful with suggestions and directions

The hotel was fantastic! Everything was spotlessly clean and it was very well located. I wish we had stayed more nights in this cute little town! Robert, the morning staff was exceptional and friendly. We will definitely stay here again when we are flying out of Munich Airport!!

There was quite a bit of construction in front of the hotel which made it difficult to find the entrance. But I understand this should be done shortly by this fall

This property holds a special place in my heart ❤️. We stayed here coming to Munich, traveled Italy, and returned here to fly home. Unfortunately my husband got sick on the return and the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. They gave us extra supplies, ice packs for his fever, and easily extended our stay for him to get well. The facility is beautiful and so nice to have a breakfast ready in the morning. Absolutely loved it here!!!

Breakfast was wonderful. Fresh eggs made to order, fruit, meats and cheeses, muesli, breads, obatzda, etc. Beds were comfy, tea was wonderful. Could not have a better location! Was situated in the heart of old town. St Peter and Paul Catholic Church is a must see!

Room was hot. We turned off the heater and opened the window to cool it down but still was very warm. Has to wear short sleeves and sleep without covers. Would have been nice to have a second pillow.

Marc and his team were wonderful...seriously, small German town hospitality just like I remembered it when I lived in the mid-eighties while in the Army. They received several calls from us en route as trains were stopped all over Munich for Euro Soccer, waited patiently for our late arrival and provided options for late entry if needed, great advice for eating, and were some of the kindest hotel operators we encountered on a 2 week trip with multiple cities. The rooms were very comfortable and bathrooms spacious...especially the shower. All around great experience.

The stay was excellent. Polite and helpful staff. Clear indication about timings and availability of front-desk staff helped in better planning.

The approach to the hotel is difficult at present. The road in front of the hotel is being renovated, and vehicles are currently not allowed. Had a challenge to get down in the next street and dragged the luggage on the uneven surface.
