The hotel staff is very nice professional

Be careful with their shuttle service, I booked it ahead to go in the morning to the airport. They tell you that it costs 15€ but unfortunately if their shuttle is full, the driver of the shuttle tells you to get into the taxi explaining that it is exactly the same service and that they use them in cases like that. But I found out afterwards that they ask you to pay 35€ and tell you that they don't have anything to do with the hotel!!

The hotel is in a great location, it is quiet but very close to the city center. The rooms are exceptionally clean and very well equipped (safe, mini bar, iron and ironing board, kettle,...). There is a small spa center in the hotel, which is also very clean, with an indoor pool, saunas and steam bath. We especially liked the breakfast, which was excellent, with a large selection of quality dishes, well prepared fresh food, for all types of guests (vegan, vegetarian, kids,...). Also, the traditional Bavarian restaurant is very nicely decorated and pleasant for dinner, wit tasty specialties. We recommend the hotel to business people and couples.

The only downside is that the room did not have a terrace, but it had a nice view. The water in the pool was a bit colder for our criteria.

We were traveling with a baby and chose the hotel to spend the night before our flight, and the location was perfect. 15-min drive from the airport and also short walking distance to the historic center of Freising: you can have a very pleasant walk. The room was exactly as described, clean and spacious. The breakfast was good. The staff was polite and ready to help, and we would like to especially thank Janette from the reception desk who was extremely helpful and attentive. She "made" our stay!

It would help to add some basic toiletries in the bathroom like cotton pads, and slippers were missed as well. Also in the lobby there is a self-service drinks counter and the clean and dirty glasses there are somehow mixed up. Unfortunately I was unattentive enough to use the dirty one.

We had a room upgrade due to my genius status and the room we had was fantastic. There was very little noise from the corridor and non from above or below us. The hotel is really well situated for Freising itself where there are many lovely restaurants to discover. We stayed with our two dogs and it was very easy to go for walks or find a comfortable “toilet” location for them. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the room and facilities were spotlessly clean.

We have had a few unseasonably warm days for March, and the hotel in general, and our room more specifically were very warm. Apparently the air conditioning doesn’t get switched on until the summer months. We could tilt the window very slightly, but that didn’t help much during the day and it made the room too noisy at night (church bells and early pick ups in the taxi rank below. I’m being very picky here…. The hotel lobby smelt amazing, but the toilets near the bar had a “drain” smell. I sometimes had to fight my way past smoking taxi drivers/guests at the entrance, and their smoke wafted into the lobby which didn’t give a good first impression.

We stayed one night in between flying in from Poland and travelling to regional Bavaria. The lady who checked us in was a trainee but was absolutely excellent with perfect English, and very quick and efficient. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I can't advise about the surrounding area as we did not have a chance to venture out of the hotel between arriving at night and being picked up the next morning. The hotel has a really nice bar and good restaurant which produced a much enjoyed meal. It also has a pool which we did not use and a shop in the lobby where you can buy small items with a self-serve checkout.

Describing itself as an airport hotel is somewhat misleading as this is around 8 kilometres from the airport - make sure your cab driver doesn't take the 'scenic route' which ours definitely did!

Our room was very nice and comfortable (the beds could've been a bit softer, but it is a matter of opinion, not a fact), and everything went really well with the staff. Check-in was fast. My husband and our kid also used the swimming pool, and they were very happy with it. Also the garage was easy to find and there was a lot of space. The breakfast was one of the best things at this hotel, it was superb - really good quality and fresh food, and the selection was amazing. We absolutely loved it!

I can only think of two things I would change in this hotel. I think the airport shuttle price is basically outrageous if you travel with family. I would expect a complimentary or very affordable shuttle at an airport hotel. The second thing was that it would be nice that if you book a room for three persons it would contain amenities for three persons. It feels really stupid that three people only get two towels, two mugs, two robes, two glasses and two of everything. Of course extra towels, mugs etc. can be requested, but I would appreciate having them without asking.

Beautiful hotel close to the heart of Freising but a 25 minute drive from Munich International airport. You will need a car, taxi, or Uber. Fabulous breakfast buffets with choices for everyone. Very clean rooms with updated furniture. We would stay here again because of the price, cleanliness, breakfast, staff, and proximity to Freislng.

We could not get the AC to work and it seemed the heat was running all night. We opened our windows but still kept waking up (in October) overheated. We mentioned the hot rooms to others at breakfast, people in two other rooms had the same issue. Our rooms overlooked a parking lot so with drapes open to catch cool air we also caught the light from the parking lot.

The location of the hotel is exceptional due to its easy walking distance to the quaint, historical city of Freising, as well as the one-half hour train ride to Munich. The hotel staff provided maps and directions for enjoying Freising as well as Munich. The staff were also helpful in supplying us with hygiene items and bathrobe when we told them our flight was cancelled and the airline had even taken our carryon luggage. The staff also responded immediately to our room being too warm -- they checked the AC and also brought a large room fan that enabled us to sleep well at night. We highly recommend this hotel if you want to spend some time in Bavaria and specifically, Munich.

Check in went very smoothly and the front desk clerk was very informative and helpful. The bar and late night menu items were great since we arrived so late. It was nice to find out there was a shuttle service back to the airport. Air conditioning and dark curtains were nice.

The front desk told us twice (the day before and the morning of) that the shuttle to the airport could be paid by credit card. When we arrived at the airport the driver insisted on cash, but we only had 5 euro's. It was frustrating and embarrassing. Another passenger paid cash for us because we didn't know what else to do. It is very confusing to be named the Munich Airport Marriott Hotel and find out that when we arrived by S1 train from South Tirol, to the Munich airport, that Freising is 17 K away. It would require a bus and 15 min walk in the dark. We were forced to hire a 45 Euro taxi on Sunday night.

The room was fabulous, we received a free upgrade from Booking.com or Marriot not sure who was responsible for that, but it was very welcome. Staff were super friendly, in fact excellent and of course being used to so many international visitors English and other languages was widely spoken. In terms of facilities it has pretty much everything, it really ticked the boxes.

Food was decent enough, served swiftly and portion size fine, but like the beer it was a touch on the pricier side if I were to compare it with places in Freising but really this is but a minor quibble, the Hotel really is a great place to stay.
