We booked this hotel at the minute due to a cancelled flight. We really weren't expecting much when we rolled up at around 10:30 at night. When we saw the hotel we were impressed and even more so when we entered and found that the young lady on reception should have finished at 10pm but had stayed late to wait for us (What a star). We collapsed into a fabulous room that was way better than could be expected at short notice and enjoyed a great breakfast the following morning. We particularly liked the little manikin dishes that they put out with an assortment of foods (we've not seen these anywhere else). The next morning the nice lady on reception helped us find the local S-Bahn station that is less than 10mins from the hotel and is on the Airport to Munich city line and gave us some local information so that we could have a look around the town before we caught the train. This was a short but fabulous stay and we would definitely use it again if we return to Bavaria.

Leaving.

This is a wonderful hotel located in the charming and peaceful village of Ismaning, which is right on the main rail line between the airport and downtown Munich. Room was comfortable although typically smallish, and nonetheless equipped with all necessities including nice shower, hairdryer, and fresh towels everyday. The "European" style buffet breakfast was absolutely fabulous every day, with attendants keeping everything stocked, and a full array of breads, meats, cheeses, coffee, juices etc. Really something to look forward to in the morning. And they had a cute little bar at night with some beer and various spirits that was just perfect either after a hard day of shopping or whooping it up at the Oktoberfest. And right down the street from the hotel is one of the nicest outdoor beer gardens (with excellent restaurant) you'll find anywhere in Bavaria (the "Gasthaus zur Muhle" - a 2 minute walk away). They also did a little bit of laundry for us at a very reasonable rate. Transportation to downtown Munich was very straightforward. About a 6 minute walk to the train station, with trains running every 20 minutes, and took about 30 - 35 minutes to get to the town center (and about 12 minutes to the airport going the other direction), but resulting in a substantial savings per night over jacked-up downtown Oktoberfest hotel prices. Overall just a gem of a little hotel, with great service, great transportation links, and reasonable pricing.

Hotel staff was exceedingly helpful and informative, both for the hotel and for enjoying the area. Bathroom and shower was excellent. Parking was provided and available covered as well.

The two beds had been separated, presumably for privacy, and that partially blocked the outlets. Moving the beds together made the outlets accessible as they were properly designed. Also easy to see why some guests would prefer the beds separated.

Did not have much time to explore but area is quiet, nice and not too far to airport by taxi. Beds are very comfortable - liked it a lot.

perhaps would be good to be more flexible and not close the restaurant when many hungry and tired guests with families are coming as result of airport delays. There is no single restaurant or kitchen open at 9pm in the area.

I liked everything: the check-in process was very quick and easy, parking was easy to access, room was good, everything was clean. Not my first time in this hotel so it couldn't exceed my expectations but it's consistently solid and I will stay there again for sure.

Price maybe...

Everything was excellent, location is great , between Munich airport and Allianz arena, easy to get there by train . Rooms big and comfortable, the staff very friendly and a very good breakfast.

I didn’t like that my flight got cancelled and I still need it to pay 80% for one night I couldn’t get to the hotel because of the flight.

Location & breakfast were excellent.

Couldn't connect to the Chrome cast on TV = nothing to watch in English, reception couldn't help. Restaurant attached to hotel was shut during our stay and this was not visible anywhere through booking.com or hotel's own website while I could have still changed hotels.

Very good breakfast and parking facilities. Bright, modern and spacious rooms - lovely bathroom/shower. Ismaning is a lovely little town and this hotel is ideally located near a train station where you can get a train to Munich in around 25 minutes. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Munich but don't want to drive into the city.

Very clean, underground free parking. Close to supermarket, train station and fast food. Very nice breakfast and a nice sitting area outside.

Overall to our trip A bit expensive but less from the other option around and still easy reach from Munich.

Everything. It's a very nice location in Ismaning. It is just 25 mins away from Munich Centre (Marianplatz). Breakfast is super delicious and staff are nice. It is very clean and rooms are not small. There's a church, pharmacy and supermarket next to the hotel. We visited the hotel in December and it was a very nice atmosphere everywhere with snow 🌨. Well done and we will come again for sure!!!
