The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent - one of the best I’ve seen in Germany. The location was great for exploring Munich. The local area was also great - Augustiner Biergarten & restaurant (delicious food, btw) just across the street, grocery store and UBahn stop just a little further, and a couple nice bakeries all within walking distance.

As quaint as actual metal key with the large wooden keychain was, it was a bit cumbersome. Especially as a runner, trying to tuck it into a running pack to carry with me.

I stayed at the hotel with my old mother. We are fully satisfied with our stay at Hotel Hoyacker Hof. This is the most beautiful and coziest hotel I have ever seen. The hotel looks like a real toy museum. It is decorated with a huge number of amazing toys that you want to look at for hours. Our room was very cozy and bright, with a wonderful bathroom. The breakfasts were absolutely incredible. I have never seen such a variety of food anywhere, and everything was very delicious. All hotel staff members were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a charming green district very close to restaurants shops and the metro station. I will only stay at the at Hotel Hoyacker Hoff during my next visits to Garching.

Location was great. Restaurants and beer garden around the corner is in walking distance. The breakfast is a spread and a wide choice of everything. You have to pay extra for it but it is worth while.We come back every year. The venue is quiet although the centre of town is around the corner. I'll give it a 5 star rating any day.

I can't think of anything.We are both over 80. There is an elevator too and we could park our car inside their garage.The U bahn to Munich is also in walking distance.

You can see that the furnishing of the hotel is old, but the rooms are okay clean and beds comfortable. The hotel has a good vibe, rustical but really cute. Free parking in the garage is great. Staff very nice and friendly! Breakfast was exceptionally wonderful, one of the best we have ever had in a hotel - surprising variety both in food and beverages. Definitely recommend.

It's traditional Bavarian hotel with high quality services, comfort, and great atmosphere with sense for details. Don't expect modern cool hotel. Rooms are large enough, very comfortable and quiet. Location is good and quiet, not far away from U-Bahn.

Price is rather higher.

I always stay at Hotel Hoyacker Hof when I visit Munich. It is one of my favorite hotels. I love the architecture. Every room is exquisite as is the dining hall. The breakfast is wonderful (I always invite a colleague for breakfast). It reminds me of the best part of my stay in Garching bei München when I was a visiting faculty member at TUM 15 years ago. I will be there again, soon.

I cannot think of anything. The staff were very helpful and courteous despite my pathetic Deutsch. The room was lovely. I also like German style beds very much. They also carefully helped me connect the the right bus and S-bahn to get to the airport for my early morning flight home to Newark, NJ.

Breakfast is great - though slightly less impressive than previous years. Hard boiled eggs were made upon request. Bread variety is great.

an apparent yoghurt shortage. The water could be super hot and likewise on could get a burn in the shower when touching the horizontal bar. Only one Safety handle in the shower seems insufficient.

Always good to be back at Hoyacker Hof. The place is really nice, with a cosy atmosphere. The room is clean and confortable. The staff is friendly and professional. Gorgeous breakfast with a lot of choices both on sweet and savoury sides.

Wi-fi was a bit unstable.

Overall great experience. My minor gripes: 1. Would have been nice if there was a fridge in the room. 2. The chair in the room and the pillows were not the most comfortable for me.

Very good location in the center of Garching, within 2 minutes walk you can make it to the uBahn going to the Munich center. The rooms are equipped standardly. Breakfast is exceptional, lot of to choose from and the dining room is so cozy.
