Room was very spacious--like a suite. Very close to airport. We couldn't eat breakfast as flight was too early. Shuttle was offered, but we drove rental car back to return it. We ate dinner here and it was delicious--weiner schnitzel and a mixed salad. Price very reasonable both for room and dinner. Spacious bathroom with excellent counter space for your toiletries. Great shelving, closet space, and place for luggage.Great neighborhood to take a walk in to get some exercise.. we will be back when we fly into Munich again. Flight attendants stay here.

Parking was $5.00 but that was reasonable.

You simply MUST stay here if you want to be within 30 minutes of Munich while experiencing Bavaria at its best. Runa's is picturesque, very clean and cozy, and its staff are top-of-the-line in professionalism, friendliness, and knowledge about the area. Plus, the price is quite reasonable for the joy of experiencing life in a German village of 11,000 people.

The only disappointment - and it is a very small one - was the pillows were way too soft. Such a small thing. Otherwise, the room and mattress were both excellent - and so were the location, staff, shuttle, and food.

Very close to the airport, and in a super cute area. There were restaurants and a grocery store within 15 minutes walking. Also, the shuttle left the hotel in the morning right on time - very efficient and easy.

When I first requested to change the date to one day earlier, my request was declined. Then my friend called and spoke to them in German. They were able to approve the request, but it would have been nice if they would have simply approved the first time. Other than that, I loved the hotel. It was seriously so cute!

Breakfast was generous and wonderful selection of foods/drinks. Coffee was great. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were truly spotless. We enjoyed opening the windows at night to enjoy the night air.

Our only difficulty was that we didn't realize that we needed to pay cash for dinner, and we had purposely spent down our Euros before flying home. So we took a short walk to eat pizza, but would rather have tried the German cuisine at the restaurant. Not a big deal.

Friendly staff, good restaurant, comfortable room

Did not expect 28 euros round trip shuttle from airport to hotel, restaurant was packed and the 2 staff members overwhelmed with orders. They did their best. I had sugar and creamer in the room but no coffee which I did not realize until the next morning. 1 packet of tea. Microwave and stove top but no utensils or plates. Microwave turntable had crumbs from previous customer. Overall the room served it's purpose of being comfortable and close to the airport.

Great location, very close to the airport which makes this hotel the perfect stay before an early morning flight. The hotel’s shuttle service is very convenient too. The room (2nd floor in the older building) was spacious and very clean with a nice view to a nearby church and a quiet neighborhood. The restaurant has a real nice, traditional Bavarian atmosphere with delicious dishes for dinner and a nice variety for breakfast. The staff was kindly trying to assist with every issue I had.

The hotel is very close to the airport which results in constant noise from the taking off airplanes - unfortunately the balcony door in the room wasn’t closing well enough to filter out these noises. There’s no elevator in the older building and if there’s no able member of the staff to help guests have to drag their heavy suitcases up and down by themselves (the staircase in the old building is rather steep and narrow too which makes it even harder to carry anything on it). The room doors are rather thin too so that every noise from the hallway can be heard. The mattress was rather old and uncomfortable, the pillow very cheap and too soft to give any support. The reception is in the restaurant which makes this nice place always noisy and busy so you cannot enjoy your meal.

Liked that they have a restaurant that was open around 9pm when lots of others are closed. Has an authentic German feel. Liked that some of the rooms have kitchenettes, instant coffee, and fridges available.

May have just been in my room, but neither of the fridges worked and one of them was loud even when shut so you could hear it when trying to sleep. Internet was a little off at least for me where it would load earlier on in the day, but wasn’t reliable later in the evening. With the lack of air conditioning in most European properties, leaving doors and windows open is essential in the summer but my room was above the outdoor seating area for the restaurant which meant there was lots of noise coming from downstairs until around 10-10:30ish which may not be ideal for all.

I loved your place! Very friendly and helpful reception, thank you! I especially enjoyed reading the menu, and finding out a little bit about the proprietor's family. This made me very happy! I enjoyed my dinner there too.

My large bag was 40 lbs. It was very difficult for me to bring upstairs. When I descended with it at 4:30AM to catch a ride, I tried to be very quiet. That was difficult too. I did not ask for help, and perhaps the problem really was just...me!

Good price, near the airport. Warm, German guesthouse feel. Restaurant served tasty, traditional food for Breakfast and Dinner. TV had selection of stations. Bathroom was clean, new shower curtain, plenty of hot water.

Parking was available at a cost which I wasn't aware of beforehand. Shower was small, not a problem for me but possibly for others. There was a large man with a very large suitcase who was unable to get his suitcase up the winding stairs (no lift), again not a problem for us as we had small overnight bags.

Great proximity to the airport, about 1 hour away from downtown Munich by public transit. Pleasantly surprised to find the regional bus that leads to the hotel running all night long. Room was clean and fine for one night before flying out the next day. Easy and cheap shuttle (12 euro for two people) to the airport. Basic breakfast for 10 euro a person offering bread, hard boiled eggs, meat and cheese, cereals, fruit, etc.

Really hot in our room and no air conditioning and it was raining so we couldn’t open the windows. If you’re not staying during the heat of the summer it’d be fine though.
