We landed at Munich airport late, coming back from from a long flight and were tired. This place was close to the airport, but not right next to it, and perfect for an overnight stay before moving on the next day. Very clean and comfortable and in a quiet location. There is even a Gasthaus (restaurant) under the same name (Alter Wirt) right across which was still open when we arrived at the hotel that night. Hotel had easy checkin with a code we were provided with to get the room key (it was late night and the receptionist was gone for the day). We highly recommend Hotel Alter Wirt!!

Nothing to dislike.

Exceptionally friendly staff. They helped get on of my bags up the stairs. They even equipped me with plate and utensils for my food delivery. Place is very clean and quiet.

The only downside is the lack of an elevator. Even for entering, there are some steps to overcome. Not a problem at all in general, yet, while traveling with more baggage.

Clean, great rooms and friendly staff. Great little creek nearby and a nice area for walking around. There’s a little communal mini bar which we appreciated and the staff went above and beyond to help us during our stay.

It’s a long way out of Munich but close to the airport. The public transport links aren’t great to the area.

Would be great to have a few snack options for purchase in the hotel outside of breakfast time. There's a little drink fridge, but some snacks would be nice since everything in the village closes pretty early so if you're jet-lagged from just flying into Munich and sleeping strange hours, it's possible to continually miss meals.

The staff manager was very accommodating and hotel was very clean! The restaurant there was very nice offering delicious assortment on the menu. The service was very friendly! We stayed there to be fairly close to the airport which was only a 12 minutes drive away. Overall I think it was good value.

It is a small operation so I’m guessing the reason breakfast was a bit simpler than some of the other hotels we stayed; although again dining room very neat and orderly and staff pleasant. We would have appreciated an elevator as we traveled for many weeks with heavy luggage (the manager, however, was very kind and helped carry my luggage up the stairs.

The room was quiet. The restaurant next door served delicious food. The hotel is very close to the airport.

Smokers should be asked to stand away from the front entrance. They were sitting out on the front steps. They should definitely be several metres away.

The property exceeded our expectations - it was very clean, convenient, and had a great staff. We had a family room and it met our needs for the evening and at a very reasonable price.

The air conditioning/heating unit was difficult to set and manage.

The accommodations were immaculate and we had all the space we needed. The rooms were incredibly clean and it was very convenient to the airport. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!

This is an amazing but simple German hotel. It is 10 minutes from the Munich Airport by car. It is modern, quiet, immaculately clean and convenient. It is great value for the price. I recommend without reservation.
