We stayed the night before our flight out of MUC. The Hotel was in a perfect location as it was walking distance to a bus stop that took us from the S-Bahn to get there. The hotel arranged for an early morning Taxi to take us to the airport, 10min away. It was walking distance to a grocery store. The restaurant on site was wonderful, as the staff and food was great. The rooms included free beer made locally and mineral water, as well as fruit. The shower was roomy compared to many European showers.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

The room was spacious and clean, the bed was spacious, the shower tube was spacious. The staff were very kind and welcoming. We found drinks and treats in the room, included in the price. Unfortunately we couldn’t eat at the restaurant because we arrived too late, but it looked a great place for a dinner, looking at the parking space probably it is appreciated and well known in the area. The food at breakfast was also very good and breakfast started at 6,30 which was very convenient for us as we had still a long drive home. This will remain our favorite place if we have to sleep near Munich airport again!

Great customer service. ALL the staff we met were friendly and proffessional. The whole hotel was extreamly clean . Our room was very comfortable and quiet . We slept well on the very comfortable bed. Complimentory water fruit and beer in our room was a nice touch. We also ate an even meal in the beautiful dinning room. Our meal was excellent at a very reasonable price. Transport links to Munich city centre and the airport were also efficient and easy to navigate.

We loved everything about this hotel.

We chose Gasthof Neuwirt because of its proximity to airport. We were pleasantly surprised with all aspects. We would have enjoyed having more time to explore the village of Hallbergmoos. The hotel restaurant was most welcoming and could well be a destination onto itself. We enjoyed he complimentary house beer and mineral water upon our arrival. We had an early flight but the breakfast buffet was outstanding and allowed us to take our breakfast with us for later.

Nothing to complain about

I needed a hotel close to the airport for an early flight and this was ideal. The food was excellent and staff most accommodating.

I arrived at Halbergmoos station from Tegernsee. It was rainy and while there was no taxi the bus service looked fine. I spoke to one or two people, assuming the hotel was not too far but no one knew the bus stop I should use for a Haupstrasse 51 address, It all worked out by a process of elimination but as a word of advice, the Familie hamburger might care to put up a little sign at the railway station advising would-be guests of the location if they wish to use a bus on a wet Friday afternoon. As things turned out I had no complaints at all.

The hotel is located in a convenient location near Munich Airport. The check-in was very quick a efficient. The room was tidy and clean, and big enough for our family. We included a baby crib inside, and there was enough space. The breakfast was simply delicious. It had a wide array of choices, like eggs, omlets, cheese, yogurt, fruit, juice and granola. The hosts themselves were very kind and gladly helped us with all our requests.

Stayed for couple of nights during Oktoberfest 2025. What a great surprise it was! The location is great and highly accessible to both the airport and the city centre using public transport (Train + Bus) City centre takes about 45 - 60 minutes. The room was very good. Comfy and functional. Breakfast is good with decent options to choose from. Staff is super friendly. Overall had a great experience. Recommended.

This was my second visit to the hotel, so I knew what to expect: a very efficiently-run experience, friendly staff, a great Biergarten restaurant outside, a comfortable bed, effortless wifi, a superb and spotless shower, and even a complimentary bottle of the hotel's own excellent beer on arrival. The hotel is situated right on the edge of Goldach, with a REWE supermarket just a few yards away and other facilities close at hand. It's quiet, but the road outside leads directly to the Hallbergmoos S-Bahn station, just one stop down from the airport. There are buses between Goldach and the station, two kilometres away, but I've walked it twice now; it's a nice stroll if you don't have a lot of luggage.

The main light in the bedroom is on a timer, which doesn't give you long before it goes out again. There are other lights, and working at the desk is not difficult, but lighting could be brighter than it is.

Bathroom was new and top quality. Bed was comfy and cozy. The staff were simply wonderful. Love the building and it's history. Restaurant offered hearty German food and was good quality. Nice free breakfast each morning with plenty of selections. Short taxi ride to the airport which staff called, or get the train and local bus to and from the hotel both to Munich City or the airport 🛫. Wonderful stay had!

Not much at all. A wonderful stay to end our 6 week Europe holiday.

Spacious, clean room, elegant furniture, high quality mattress, comfortable comforter and pillows, attention to detail, spacious, clean bathroom with modern layout. The staff is kind, the most refined and successful in their art of smiling, warm welcome and explaining everything to the guest, in addition to providing a fruit plate in the room. The hotel restaurant offers the best culinary art at lunch and dinner.
