The location to get a hotel shuttle to the Munich airport was great. Tell the hotel at check-in that you need the shuttle. Breakfast was included and starts at 7 am. The restaurant/bar was clean and cozy. There was an outdoor patio to eat as well. The room was big enough for 3 with the extra bed. Bathroom was large with a bathtub for showering or bathing. Use your room key to unlock the door and then use it in another keyhole beside the door to turn the power on to the room. This is great for conserving energy.

We couldn’t eat breakfast as our shuttle was early. No “to go” breakfast as it was too early for staff to work. The tall bathtub is not good for folks with difficulty getting in/out after showering. One cannot leave the fan on or cell charging while going to dinner as key is need to unlock door upon return to room so you have to power off. While a great energy saver, it can be inconvenient.

The dining room and front desk combined in one room is not a good idea! If there are any discrepancies about the room/rate/ reservation, etc., why would the public in the dining area have to listen to any of the above-mentioned discrepancies? And believe me, we were witnesses to such drama. One customer had complained about his reservation, on and on, while the front desk clerk tried, unfortunately, to reason with the guest, who in turn did not want to know about it. This went on for about 20 minutes or more until the manager or owner got involved, and that was plain ugly!! I'm not pointing a finger at one or the other; just do yourself a favor and find a different place for the front desk. We experienced a simmerly experience when we arrived from overseas 8 or 9days prior

Simple easy check in -- very efficient. Located in a bedroom community very close to the airport which was thankfully quiet since we needed to sleep with the windows open (No A/C). The provided shuttle service (extra fee required) was perfect -- driver on time and shuttle was large enough to fit all 6 of us and our luggage no problem. Restaurant options were within 10 min walking -- hotel had restaurant also but only took cash (had already mostly spent all my Euro notes prior to my departure the next morning).

Lack of A/C in rooms

I have stayed here numerous times and have always been satisfied! Friendly reception and wait staff. I love that the rooms are accessible by elevator (for those of us with mobility issues), are spacious and comfortable. The shower stall in my room could use a re-caulking, but I didn't get a chance to speak with the reception due to an early flight. Otherwise, the hotel has everything I need. A pleasant restaurant for dinner and an excellent breakfast. I also park my car for the duration of my trip. There are a few options available, just ask. The shuttle is a base price of €12 per room/one way. The shuttle drivers are courteous, punctual and helpful with bags.

Staff greeting was exceptional, providing unreasonable hospitality. Helpful, fluent, and empathetic to needs. Room 201 was small but met expectations. Airport shuttle was very fast and accommodating, guiding where to go, since property shares the shuttle with Runas Hotel. Amazing basement filled with sauna and exercise room. I wish I could have explored the area, as it seemed to be in a very friendly neighborhood with people enjoying the cool evening air with quiet music and conversations.

Room 201 was a bit small, with only German dubbed channels on the television. No A/C, but the rooftop windows and ceiling fan cooled things quickly. The toiletries in the bathroom could have been a bit more accommodating as my urgent travel caused for a lack thereof. In-room refrigerator was great; a selection of beverages could have made shopping from the vending machine less cumbersome. Maybe have a bigger vending selection?

Nice hotel. Newish decor in good condition. Coffee and tea facilities on arrival is bonus you don't always get. Price very good and 5am shuttle to airport was faultless only 15 minutes.

Lost a point because it does require getting up that little bit earlier to get to the airport and public transport requires a bus after the train and a short walk for the bus stop. OK for me and I expected from the good description of the hotel but might be problematic for others.

Everything was perfect! Very delicious food in the restaurant as well and very friendly staff. The only minor issue was that the remote control to the TV only worked on one channel. Maybe i didn't know how to work it, but I couldn't manage to change the channels at all, so You Tube on my phone to the rescue! The room was really clean and warm and the bed was very comfortable. The shuttle to the airport was on time and perfect! Great location! Quiet street and peaceful guest house!

Good!! …. But … the arrangements for meeting the shuttle service at the airport could have been a lot easier. As it was, and after the first call to say we were ready, we were asked to go to a specific bus stop in the terminal area. After asking directions from 4 different passers-by, and getting conflicting stories, we eventually found the bus stop. (Very poor signage at the airport). This whole process took more than half an hour of dragging luggage here & there. A simple map or clear directions sent to us when we made the booking would have been more effective.

The hotel complex itself is very cozy - old houses divided by greenery, adding to that is it being owned by horse polo family team, making it a special place. Our room was very good for a week stay: big table for work, nice beds, teapot, tray and THE QUEEN HERSELF: a full scale bath. Everything was very clean, lighting was very ambient.

Location issue is obvious, so I wouldn't count it as a minus. We came by car, but considering parking problems and traffic jams in the city, there was a question what is better to use to get to Munich. Public transport option is a bit complicated: first take a bus to S-Bahn station and then take train to the city. Or take a 5km ride to station and leave car there on parking for 1euro.

The place was clean, very comfortable and perfect for an overnight stay before flying out. The tub in the room was great, bed was comfy, and the breakfast was good. They were also nice enough to let me keep my luggage and borrow and umbrella with the rain. Airport shuttle was also reliable.

Far from Munich center, so more of a place to stay if you have an early flight.
