We have previously stayed at Hotel zur Muhle and like it very much. We have recommended it to friends and family who travel to Munich. It is a very easy train ride from both the airport and the city center, but far enough outside of Munich to have a small town feel. The hotel is very charming with lovely gardens and a stream that flows through the property. There is parking, which is a plus. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The hotel has a wonderful beer garden and restaurant, which we love and which is used by the locals, so it's a friendly place to meet and chat. The breakfast at the hotel is wonderful and highly recommended. The restaurant and beer garden serve German specialties and shouldn't be missed.

Their Internet connection in the rooms is bad 😞 This place deserves to have a better Internet. I had a reservation, but I cancelled due to a bad Internet connection. When I mentioned this to the receptionist she told me that this hotel was for vacation not for working. And the truth is that even when we are on vacation, as business owners, we need to do meetings and calls. Anyways here is my feedback for them, perhaps, to improve. I really think it is a beautiful hotel..

This is a favorite for us due to the location to downtown Munich and the airport. The hotel is great and the breakfast is delicious. The beer garden and restaurant at the hotel is an added bonus after a long day. The staff is wonderful and the indoor pool is an extra bonus on a hot summer day.

The only negative is the parking lot is tight, but so are many European parking lots. The hotel does not have AC, but pleasant breezes during the night with the windows open.

We love this place. We always stay here our last night in Munich. It's so close to the airport by S-Bahn (less than 20 minutes), and drops you right in the lower floor of the airport. During summer their sizeable outdoor beer garden is outstanding, and the indoor dining in the restaurant this time was delicious and memorable. Breakfast was also fantastic - a big spread of cheeses and "lunchmeats" plus eggs, bacon, and the works. Great Place!

All the staff were welcoming and the housekeeping was very good. The breakfast was a good variety and staff were mostly attentive and replenished as required. The restaurant next door was lovely food and a great atmosphere. The swimming pool was a lovely addition to help relax during our stay.

More tables set/reset at breakfast. It would have been nice to have been able to make a cup of tea/ coffee in the room.

The room was a reasonable size, not too crowded. The location was really beautiful, in the middle of a nice and quiet village, not too far from Munich. The breakfast was really tasty and diversified.

In-room toilet and shower, had a glass door (opaque white glass). Also, this door was a sliding door, and didn't quite "seal" when it closed. This means there's no full privacy to the person in the toilet or shower.

The clean, quiet, laid back atmosphere was so appealing. Staff are amazingly helpful even when the Biergarten and Restaurant are totally full to capacity. They have time to say hello... It's an easy walk to the bahnhof either for a newspaper or to get a train into Stadtmitte...

Terribly difficult question. If I were to have one single thing it would be the lack of Air Con in the rooms...but hey, why stay in your room when you've got Bavaria on your doorstep...

Beautiful hotel with extra friendly staff. We loved the pool! Very close to the train station to reach the airport. A bit further away from the highway, but totally worth it! Breakfast was very good, with wonderful view of a small river.

I am not sure I saw gluten free bread option for breakfast, but it mihjt have been on demand, just like coffee and scrambled eggs.

we liked everything, breakfast and food in the restaurant were very good. Friendly staff. Room was clean and new. The train station is only 5 minutes walking. River Isar is as well only a few minutes from the hotel. I only recommend to you, please measure the amount of chlorine in the pool. I have now green hair :-).

Everything was great. Room was nice, quiet and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good enough. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Extra points for the pool. They also accepted our cat. :)

I can't mention anything. Maybe the family room could be a bit bigger.
