We chose the hotel for its location opposite the city train station (S8 line), which connects to both Munich (30 min) and Munich airport (13 min). The location was safe, quiet, and clean. Our room and bathroom were nicely refurbished, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel had a restaurant which offered Bavarian style pub foods all day round. A beergarden and at least one Italian restaurant were within walking distance from the hotel.

Since our room was not air-conditioned and the region experienced an unseasonal heat wave, we needed to open the windows at night for cool air. Unfortunately, the windows had no fly screens, so the mozzies had a feast on us. Another negative was the noise and loud music coming from the kitchen, which during our stay only stopped when the kitchen closed at 9 pm..

Very close to the station, good for airport connection. Staff were pleasant and courteous. The included breakfast was fair, but not outstanding.

Reception closes early some days, including public holidays. We had to make a phone call (international) to gain admittance. Came very quickly, must have been on the premises. So maybe a door intercom, or even just a bell, could be an alternative to posting a phone number on the door. Beds were rather soft. No fridge.

Very clean and respectable place, a few blocks away from a fantastic German restaurant and beer garden at Gasthof an der Mühle or something like that. Lovely quiet town with a lovely canal to walk by. Very convenient to the train into Munich or the airport.

The place doesn’t have AC, but fortunately the evening was cool and we slept with both windows open.

Location close to Munich, nice village. Room was clean and consisting all you can normally need to sleep over night. No extras, no specialties, but what you need was there.

It was pity that hotel restaurant was closed, But I was aware about it, it was on Monday and it is close day for many German restaurants. The lady at reception desk advised other restaurant in walking distance

Excellent location, just 2 or 3 minutes walk from the Ismaning S-Bahn station, which is roughly half-way between Munich airport and the city. Ismaning itself is a picturesque and quiet town, so an ideal spot to relax before or after long-distance travel. I had a spacious and comfortable room, with great wifi, and tea-making facilities. Also the breakfast was healthy and varied, and the hotel has a cafe/restaurant serving traditional Bavarian meals. One other thoughtful touch was a bowl of crisp fresh apples in the hallway.

On the Friday night there were some noisy passers-by, but this did not detract much from an otherwise very good stay.

A lovely stay albeit for only one night. The room was clean, comfortable and had a decent shower. 20 minutes by train from Munich Airport and easy to get into Munich centre. Nice breakfast and a menu in the Gasthof for food at other times of the day. I will certainly stay at the Hotel & Gasthaus Soller again when I visit. Munich.

In a nice little town very close to the train station and only a few stops from the airport. The restaurant was excellent for dinner.

A bit noisy with the window open, which I needed to cool the room down. I used booking.com and it came back as a no-show. The check-in process was quick but something was missing.

Breakfast was lovely, the hotel was right across the street from the train station, a short ride from the airport. The neighborhood was pleasing to walk in with nice parks and good paths. The room was spacious and comfortable. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and it was quite good.

No complaints.

It is a quiet location right on the S-Bahn line making it ideal for an ovenight stay close to the airport.

Having arrived in the evening I was informed that there was no dinner service at the hotel. The lady at the reception however was very helpful and gave me directions to a good locale less then 300 metres away from the hotel.

Good choice of cold meat and cheeses , together with the usual excellent German bread rolls at breakfast. Very good restaurant food but note closed on Sundays/ Mondays. Just across road from S Bahn with easy connection to airport and city. No aircon in rooms but comfortable with open window for sleeping. Will stay here again when next in Munich area.
