We were welcomed by an amazing woman at the reception — she’s both the administrator and bartender, and truly a superwoman! Warm, energetic, and professional — she made our arrival smooth and pleasant. The entire stay was fantastic: • The room was spotlessly clean, fully prepared and comfortable. • The terrace-bar was a real highlight — with a great selection of fresh beers, a relaxed atmosphere, and excellent food. • And the panoramic view from our window? Absolutely stunning. Everything felt thoughtful and inviting. We’re genuinely delighted with this place and would love to return. Highly recommended!

Great location, only a short walk to the train station. Staff were super friendly. I messaged to request a possible earlier check in and they were very accommodating and sorted me out immediately. When I got to the room I had an issue with the door of the bathroom, which they immediately fixed with a new room. Very happy with the service! The room itself was spacious and comfortable. The shower was great. The overall experience was very enjoyable and comfortable.

Not very soundproof in the rooms, could hear everything around my room. Very quiet hotel though so it wasn't anything that spoiled my experience.

I honestly loved everything about this place, and I always have bad luck with hotels. The ataff were kind, and spoke English. They were very friendly and patient with me.. I was there for a fest, and overslept but was still allowed to have breakfast without stress close to the end. The room was definitely value for money, it was a really nice size and the bed nice too. More than enough for one person! Plenty of facilities in the roon e.g hair hairdryer, usb plus, plenty of normal plus, TV, shower gel incase you forgot yours. The location is also fantastic, right by the train and bus station, and had a late checkout at 12. Would highly recommend !!!

Super friendly staff! The lady at the reception desk was very nice and helped us with hall of our questions. No problems with leaving the luggage while waiting for check in or after check out. The room was very nice and cosy, bathroom clean and fresh. Perfect location near train/tram/bus station and to do some sightseeing.

(for us personal) the mattresses were too soft :( If someone is not used to traffic noise then beware - loud buses could be heard from nearby station.

one of the three rooms had problems with the door lock, we had to ask for help twice; somewhat loud around the hotel, but OK, when windows are closed; we were hoping to have the kids stay beside us, but we were split over three floors (but admittedly I did not think to ask for a change, which I guess would have been possible)

Room was nice enough, but very hot with no AC, but receptionist did give us fans Breakfast was good but we had to pay for this in the morning, where we thought it was included in our booking. Area was ok, and parking was fine also

We to pay separately for breakfast Area was noisy as next to the main road. Had to have windows open as no AC in rooms (didnt sleep very well)

▪️The staff went beyond their duty. Our car was broken in in the night on the roadside next to the hotel and the window was broken. The receptionist called the police and her collegue helped me with taping the window. ▪️The room was clean, our dogs were welcome too.

A convenient hotel if you're going to the Veltens arena.

A bit communistical but okay. It's cheap and cheerful and near the train station. But why are German trains so unreliable these days? Anyway the hotel is fine. Neat and tidy.

Large double room and bathroom.Surprisingly good for the small price we paid with breakfast included. We even asked to add a third bed and the staff accommodated our request. We will definitely chose this hotel again when visiting our family in Gelsenkirchen over the weekend.

Location is amazing! 4 min away from the station and close to the center area. All personnel was welcoming and kind :) The room itself was clean and pleasant for stay.

One elevator would take a while. However, the stairs are available so it is not a big issue.
