The staff were all lovely and really professional at every moment. As well as being in a great location near the rail and bus station, the room has everything and the bathroom was really nice. The bar and its terrace were also really nice.

It was warm, even if only for the time of year, and there was no air conditioning or option to have only sheets on the bed. Only a duvet. Not a huge problem but it would be nice to have the option of lighter bedclothes in the summer. Also, the laundry service advertised in the booklet in the room was not available.

Possibly the nicest and most welcoming hotel we have stayed at in Germany. Comfortable rooms in a nice setting. Impressive attention to details, from bottled water to complimentary dog snacks :) Also located in the centre of Göttingen which is a place well worth a visit.

If anything maybe time to soften the colouring of the yellow walls

Good location close to the city center. Staff were very friendly. Very nice hotel room. Initially, we had a room with carpet and it was switched without any problem into a room without carpet.

It was a pity that the restaurant of the hotel was not open when we stayed there.

Breakfast: The selection was extensive and the setting welcoming. Location: Perfect for comfortably visiting the entire city. Room: Comfortable and clean cozy rooms.

Breakfast: I might add some sweet alternatives to the menu (e.g., chocolate croissants or pain au chocolat).

Lovely old property full of character. Walking distance from the station and close to the town. The restaurant is excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. Spotlessly clean.

As with most hotels in Germany, it doesn’t have air conditioning. Normally not a problem, but on a hot day sleeping can be difficult and the restaurant was uncomfortable.

Lovely place close to the railway station, just 5 min to walk. Easy to find and quiet hotel. My single room was really with a single bed and the room was divided into two parts, one with the bed and another with a sofa, generating a very comfortable room.

I travel a lot and this hotel was one I have nothing to criticise over many years.

The staff is resourceful and very kind. The hotel has charme, and the interior design is beautiful, especially the bar and breakfast area. The breakfast was excellent, with a lot of variety, and good coffee.

Really easy to find, just inside the main old city. Quiet with a first rate resteraunt as well. The staff were excellent, kind and friendly. The room was perfect. large, comfortable and clean as well as quiet. I wish I spent more time there, and will book on the way back to Scotland - to explore the town a bit more, and enjoy the finest hotel in town.

Little to fault really other than perhaps ... well.. actually. I cant think of a single thing. Breakfast was exactly as expected, rooms had no faults and the parking was easy - often troublesome in older hotels. So yup.. nothing negative to say.

It was a wonderful stay. The staff was absolutely outstanding: quick, kind, ready to answer any question one might have. The room was big and the bed comfortable - if only, a little too soft, but it is matter of personal preference. I wish to recommend the restaurant: the service and food make you feel royalty.

The room was spacious, quiet and big, yet some of the furniture is quite old and worn out, for a four star hotel.

Breakfast were enjoyable but the scrambled eggs could have been more appealing.
