The hosts were very professional, helpful, and available at all times. The rooms were extremely clean, which was greatly appreciated. The lady did an excellent job! There is a breakfast room with coffee available, and you can also store your own food in the fridge and use the microwave to reheat it. The location is ideal as well, it’s very close to the train station, and there are a few restaurants and shops nearby.

Great hotel with exceptional hosts. The son of hosting family is very open and helpful. Even we were not able to come on time (we came close to midnight 🤯), he supported us and was very friendly 👍👍👍💪💪💪

If you wanna enjoy next morning and stay longer in bed, do not book the room next to kitchen (I guess 112?) 🤣🤣🤣

The staff was absolutely fabulous. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The room was clean and quiet.

The breakfast was pretty meager, toast, coffee and tea. It was 30 degrees C while we were there, and the airflow in the room was minimal. It was muggy to us and slow to cool down. A fan would be most welcome.

Hotel Heilsberg was a gem of a find, I wish I could stay longer. It was very affordable, I had my own space in the fridge, there was a delightful little kitchen and lounge area to just sit and soak up the peace and quiet. Very close to the train station. There was apparently a restaurant and bar area as well but I didn't get to use it. It looked very inviting though.

That was friendly and comfortable hotel. The room was spacious and clean, beds are very comfortable. Few restaurants are available nearby for dining out. Very recommended for short stays.

Everything was great. Owners are really nice and helpful. There is outside a little garden, where you can drink something or you can order meal. Hotel is in a small village, it is really calm. Shaffhausen waterfall and Lake Boden are in the near. You can reach them also by train easy. Well recommended.

The owners were wonderful - so helpful, quick to respond and extremely friendly. The hotel is very close to the train station without being able to hear any noise from the trains. The place is very comfortable and homely.

The curtains did not really block the light. But we had eye masks so this was not an issue for us.
