Krone is a very, very special place. Secluded at the end of a small German town, even though located at the real center, hotel complex offers an ultimate experience for a whole day of activities and amazingly peaceful sleep at night. The room and especially the bathroom were immaculately clean and maintained that way every single day by two, what seems, tirelessness ladies. Always smiling and polite. We kept receiving small gifts or candies/chocolates every single day. Breakfast was rich, fresh and tasty, and there was always something new every single morning to keep it exciting for longer stays. Spa zone had everything needed for few hours of relaxation. What a delightful experience was a dinner at Pfälzer Stube, one of the restaurants at Krone. Chef Fabio Daneluzzi, a top 50 chefs in Germany, prepared the food for the guests - food as well as plating created a fairy tale. The hotel is worth staying at just because of the restaurant itself. We felt special guests in a place hosted Helmut Kohl and George and Laura Bush.

Due to a flight delay we arrived a day later and were welcomed rather cold with no compassion. The same female employee seemed happier when we were checking out than when we were checking in. Could be a moment of weakness, but after over 36 hours of travel and constant messaging with the hotel staff with an exact ETA, I needed warm welcome and to feel I was a valued guest.

The Hotel has a typical Germanic frontage , in the reception area was a log fire plush carpeting with good deep sofas , very welcoming. The bedroom was nicely furnished with quality furnishing , and warm. The bathroom was adequate and as expected of a 4* establishment. Supper was on the large side , enough for 2 people , staff were attentive and discreet.

Cannot fault anything..good value for money. Only one gripe rear car park was not sign posted and the entrance was 60 metres from the Hotel frontage.

The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and it’s such a good place to rest and relax. There are plenty of sun beds in the garden and pool area. There is a large inside pool as well as spa facilities. The breakfast/brunch spread is enormous and caters for all. We just love staying here.

Everything was good for us.

This is a special place in a small village, something different from a stay in a big city or countryside. First I thought that it is some kind of a religious establishment, icons on the walls in the rooms and serious and strict people in national clothes in the reception (I didn't notice any smile on their faces during the whole stay). But it was all ok, the complex was nice, the small gym was really well equipped and the pool area also ok.

I took all inclusive. The dinner was gourmet, no doubt, but on the first day it took 2 hours to get all the five rounds, 1 hour and 40 minutes on the second day. Too long. I was already ready to quit after the third. And also, I haven't seen so many flies in my life in the dining room where breakfast and dinner were served. Again, the breakfast and lunch seemed a bit different than in aa traditional 4* hotel. But if you are looking for something different and exiting, this is for you. I am speaking from the point of a foreigner.

The waitresses and staff were very professional and hardworking. The food was well executed (you will never go hungry!) and the spa facilities were outstanding. We also enjoyed the piano and singing evening which was the highlight of our weekend.

The mattresses could have been better and the drinks on top of everything really add up. Be prepared to pay an extra 100 euro at least for drinks from a two night stay.

Beautiful hotel, silent nights sleep , immaculately clean , the stuff were lovely . And the breakfast was perfect massive selection .
