Great location in the heart of Landau, two Greek excellent restaurants literally at your door step. Also a grocery store near by as well as the market place and boutiques in walking distance in the beautiful pedestrian zone of Landau. Great room, very stylish interior and bathroom as well as super clean.

Be aware that there are no parking spaces allocated ro Heiligenthaler Hof. There is a public pay parking space however circa 200 meters away (as of May 2024 still very affordable rate), so we didn’t mind at all given the prime inner city location of the accommodation.

The hotel contact was quick with excellent explanation of where to go to get keys, parking, breakfast etc. Hotel room was very clean and if I had needed it, the little kitchenette was more than adequate.

My only issue was with the bedding - the mattress is quite thin and hard - the pillows are very low quality and quite uncomfortable, the duvet is also thin and synthetic. The bathroom is perfectly fine, exception is the shower - which was almost impossible to turn on and adjust the water temperature without being entirely soaked, as was the rest of the bathroom. The handheld shower squirts water in all directions, and the wall mounted shower rose is so high that when it is turned on, the water shoots almost out to the street. Suspect this is only a small adjustment. When you do manage to get something working with the shower, the water pressure is above average.

No issues with key pickup. Room was comfortable, clean, and in a great area.

I would have liked to arrange the key pickup sooner to reduce travel-related stress. Also, it should be indicated that there is a restaurant downstairs where patrons may stay late.

There was no breakfast offered purportedly due to renovation at the previously planned venue.

In light of renovations, the management should have ensured a temporary breakfast agreement with a local provider.

Greek restaurants in close vicinity. Rooms clean and equipped with hair dryer, coffee maker, micro wave, etc.

Facilities: The advertised WiFi was not accessible. No access point was detectable in the 2nd floor rooms.

Perfect overnight-stay option for introverts - 'keyboy' instead of classic reception is the best solution ever. I will opt for this hotel in future for sure. Interior design of the room and location of the hotel is also impeccable!

The balcony gives a very independent feeling, more like you have your own apartment instead of a hotel room. Very central to the town. Very clean. Would stay again 🙂

Location in town centre

Check-in was staff-less; key obtained via a key-safe, which is fine. Finding that safe however was not easy and not pointed out clearly, whereas the key-deposit for check-out was very visible and easy to find. Also the info about parking was outdated; the location very close by but the costs were very different. Maximum stay half a day for about 8 Euro (the info mentioned full-day stay for few euro). The check-in mail referred to info about breakfast; that was missing
