Quite, village inn at the side of the road. An excellent spot to start exploring Sächsische Schweiz. If you dont mind walking an extra mile, then much less crowded than Rathewalde or Rathen itself. A roundtrip on foot to Bastei bridge and Wehlen was about 25 km. The exceptionally spacious family suite is located in the attic and accessed over somewhat steep and creaky stairs. That might be a problem if one has mobility issues or wishes to sneak out at the middle of night - whole house will know,

The place was very cosy and comfortable. We have a free parking space and we have a lot of place in our rooms. We have a private kitchen wih fridge and induction cooker. If you want to visit Dresden by a car with your friends, it's the best options if you have a limited budget and you don't want to spend much money for a night.

It was in the middle of nowhere. Without a car it's impossible to get anywhere. Even though, the price is adequate for the accomodation. The host doesn't speak English, even though she is very nice and helpful person!

Apartment in a quiet location a bit outside of Hohnstein, 10 minutes drive to Bastei and a hiking route nearby. Good value for a short stay. It's possible to have breakfast at the location. There's a place outside the building to park the car.

As there are no surrounding cafés at close proximity, would be nice to use a teapot at the room and perhaps a small fridge as these were not equipped in our room. The sink in the bathroom was leaking. The bed was uncomfortable and squeaky.

We were given attic apartment which is perfect for family stays. with a nice and big bath. Staff is super friendly, they even arranged breakfast based on our choice. rooms are big and well lit. Manager arranged a new microwave oven for us on request. Will always prefer its if we plan to visit Bohemian Switzerland again.

These problems could be because the apartment still seemed to be under renovations. the keys for the bathroom and bedrooms were missing, you have to announce to everyone that bathroom is going to be in use. Towels are included, would be nicer if some toiletries are included too.

First of all I need to clarify that check-in in this hotel is NOT limited to 14:00-16:00 as this is mentioned by Booking.com, but rather not having any time limits !! -- we were stressed to arrive to hotel before 16:00, while this was not needed at all ;-)) -- In fact once you arrive to hotel you contact the property, and they will provide you a code and point you to the key-box to unlock with the given code. In the key-box you'll find the key for your room and the key to enter the hotel. That's all !! -- and this is regardless the time you're arriving !! ;-)) Now, once this point is covered, all you need to know is that this hotel is on the very beautiful country side, and in the past was one of the famous places for the rally race !! -- the history of this time of rally races in the past is very present in this hotel, and you may discover many interesting and surprising things for yourself ! Additionally the hotel is very clean, comfortable, quiet -- all you need for the great staying or a short pause along your traveling. Not to forget a very nice breakfast you get in the morning !! -- and people in hotel are so kind, that you just feel good from the first minutes of staying ;-)) And of course just bear by you have a city of Dresden where you can spend days and nights and still discover something new on every next visit..

The room was more spacious than we expected. The staff was friendly. The hotel is truly pet friendly! My dog even received a home made treat from the staff 🐶

The checkin process wasn’t very straightforward. It’s contactless (I.e. keys are in the safe), but I didn’t receive the code before the arrival. Had to call the property to figure out. Secondly, it says that the possible check-in time is 14-16:00. But I guess, there’s no problem if you arrive later, as long as you know the safe code.

Everything was perfect! I had stress before check in, because so many reviews mentioned problems for the check in, but I called them in advanced and let them know what time we were arriving. They sent us immediately a code for the keys (via text)and you can basically arrive any time you want as long as you get this code! Super easy! Breakfast was lovely too! Location convenient to see the area!I would choose it again!

Cute and comfortable place to stay placed right on the blue/red trail. Hospitable host and very good breakfast. Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

There were issues with WiFi connectivity. Having a noticeable doorbell or instructions on getting in would be nice.

The location is perfect, nice view. Nice parking place under the Bridge Near Bastai and several perfect places.

No towels. Not enough kitchenware. Not enough spoons for 5 ppl. Oven not working. Creaky stairs

This place is wonderful. So peaceful and calm. The personal take real care about our family and dog. They organize extra bed and pillow. So clean and comfortable. The area is beautiful and in a very good location. Amazing! Breakfast is so nice!
