The location is wonderful, probably unique, high on the valley side, in quiet forest. Many of the guests will be coming and going daily walking the Malerweg, but access to this amazing location is also possible by forest track and car. There’s the possibility of a wonderful breakfast overlooking the beautiful Saxon Switzerland landscape, before a day walking the trails. Very nice evening meals available upto 18.30, but there’s also very good inns and restaurants in the surrounding villages if you are out later. There is also a free pass that allows you to use local trains, buses and ferry’s to explore the area, which is a great idea and cuts down on people driving. We had a great time walking sections of the Malerweg using the passes to get to starting points and walking back to a lovely meal as the sunset and a comfortable bed with nothing but the sound of the wind in the trees to lull you to sleep!

We loved the location, the amazing view and how quiet it was. We stayed for 2 nights and on the first night there was an event for 100+ people for dinner, we couldn’t hear them from our room and it was peaceful. Waking up to such beautiful and quiet surroundings was excellent. The on-site restaurant was lovely as well. We also like how there’s a functioning kitchen and fridge in our room so we could cook too.

The staff were excellent and friendly. Location is superb. Important that guests read carefully the instructions how to get to the facility. It is in a nature park and needs permission to drive there. Do not rely on Google map as it sends you the wrong way.

unfortunately the WiFi didn’t work on our top floor and there was a coffee machine but no coffee, however we were given that at the cafe after requesting..

It was such a great stay. Perfect location with breathtaking view in the National Park. It was silent and calm, and just perfect to hike around and unwind a bit. The room was clean, had everything we needed and even had a big blanket for tall people (my boyfriend was so happy to not have uncovered feet in the night!). Personel was very friendly and I'd recommend this place to anybody that wish for a peaceful stay and loves nature. The view is just stunning. There is also reception and wifi working, so in case you need to do something online, don't worry - you are still connected to the world.

Fantastic location with some great nearby lookouts. The rooms are fresh and really nicely appointed with a good little kitchenette and a balcony. We were very comfortable there. The terrace is a good place to lunch and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very cozy and the food is good.

Nobody checked the 3G Corona rules at any point.
