There aren’t many options in Kaiserslautern for an affordable but comfortable hotel, so it’s usually either this or the Best Western. I love that they’re dog-friendly.

I’m from a small German town so I’m always very surprised to see how many U.S. military people are here in uniform. It’s pretty uncomfortable, especially considering they always write really inappropriate/sexual messages on the alphabet block message board in the lounge. I think the presence of so many military in uniform is enough to make me consider not staying here.

This was my third stay at the Kaiserslautern Hampton. This is my go-to hotel when visiting. The staff is always friendly, and I love the gym; it is always clean and meets all my needs. The included breakfast is fulfilling. I also appreciate that there is plentiful free parking available.

Free parking an EV charging available. Roms with plenty of sockets and can control AC +-3 rather than not at all. Modern. Some board games and computer/printer available.

Lifts are separate from each other, so need to press two buttons to get it fastest. Waffles were not so tasty, though made on the spot... Bit of a pain to enable Internet, needs to register for program with full contact data... Most hotels these days make it easy to connect, like before 9/11 (was a period of many years thereafter where EU made hotels make Internet very difficult to use). McDonalds were among the first in hospitality to reduce the user barrier for Internet WiFi activation...

The hotel was clean and quiet at night, the rooms were spacious and we enjoyed the night and the convenience of parking right outside without additional costs. We also forgot some things in the rooms and we were able to get them with very kind service from the staff.

When it got busy, it was a bit of a wait to get attention from the service staff.

The breakfast was the best in all the 6 hotels we have stayed in on our motorcycle tour. The reception staff were kind and warm and friendly. The food we had from the bar area was very good. The bedrooms were amazing - felt quite luxurious! The bed was very comfortable, the pillows a little too soft for us but really not an issue. Parking for the motorcycles was good and close to the hotel.

Everything was perfect: The wonderful staff, cleanliness, location, parking, breakfast, and the price was very reasonable. Anyone who visits this hotel will be convinced by all of this, and it truly deserves a full 10 with all my heart. ❤️

The hotel was fantastic, the room was superb, modern and with everything, SMEG fridge and kettle, large flat screen TV, the bathroom was top modern with 2 showers. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was super delicious with a huge selection of all kinds of food, fruit, drinks and other thing

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel, it is simply a perfect hotel

great location: 15 min easy walk to city center and free parking. great breakfast, comfortable bed (high quality mattress, pillows, comforter, and towels), water heater in room and ceramic mugs and glasses. nice shower.

room needs more lighting and bigger window. thermostat would not cool down room (stayed at 20-21); room service by request and often takes until late in the day. room design slightly cramped-not many drawers and must fold up desk to walk around bed.

Nicely located , easy access to the city, huge (free) parking lot. Great tasty breakfast, ok internet speed , very clean rooms, comfortable beds, reasonable price

Hotel was severely understaffed when we visited. Rooms were not ready at 3pm for many parties; I observed that families with small children who had to wait more than an hour for their room, weren't even provided with free drinks but had to pay for everything while waiting towards 5p to get their room; things improved when the (alerted) hotel manager got in action the next day

Location is 10 minutes from the city center. There is a parking free available. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast has nice variaty and quality of food. Clean and nice.

Door on the bathroom is sliding and closing completely - lack of privacy :-) Bed could be more comfortable.
