The location is AMAZING - like stepping back in time and still very easy connected to major attractions with acceptable travel times (even when you have younger children like we did). The gardens are impressive, the view and the pool area, the interior is very comfortable (we stayed 5 in La Girouette) and we had plenty of space - even for maybe not sunny/warm days. You see the property is kept with love and care, and Paul is a very thoughtful host. My children LOVED it: pool, gardens, boule area - everything.

I have to think really hard, but maybe one thing to remember - there are no shops really really near (walking distance) so you need to stock up. This is not a problem once you know it.

I like the fact that the property was spacious, clean and with a nice view. I also liked the fact that the property provides a long comfortable desk to work at. There is also a round table and a sofa inside the room, where you can stay, read or rest for a bit. There is also a table and two chairs on the balcony and it is very relaxing you can have tea and enjoy the view with many trees around. The tea kettle was spotless. You could iron your clothes if you need.

I guess the fact that if you check on the room tablet: No cleaning during stay. It really means absolutely no cleaning. Maybe they can modify that on the tablet in different options. Because inevitably after a day or two you have to take out the trash.

The room exceeded our expectations and the pictures on the web didn't do the room any justice. The room was immaculate, comfortable, cozy and quite spacious. The staff was beyond friendly and easy to talk with. This was by far one the best hotel experiences we've had as we stay in a hotel once every 2 months here in Germany. This is now our favorite hotel in the Kaiserslautern area in which we will definitely be back. We can't stop talking about our stay since we returned home. If I can give it a 20 I would. The food was really good especially the tiramisu, we had it both nights.

To start with, our family travels often, every few months or so. My son said it was his favorite breakfast at any hotel so far. The hotel room was spacious, the bunk beds were a fun surprise for the kids and the staff were quite friendly. Incredible food at the restaurant for dinner and our cousin who works nearby had a luncheon there with coworkers and told us they had an amazing experience at the restaurant's lunch time as well.

The parking was to my knowledge only street parking, it was fine but not ideal if you stayed in the hotel located across from the main building (the hotel was separated into 2 different facilities). The main building did have a decent sized parking lot.

The room and the staff were phenomenal. This was the first time we had dinner in the restaurant as the last time we ordered room service and the food was outstanding. We can’t stop talking about the staff in the restaurant they were friendly, courtesy and very professional. The experience was like being at a friend’s house for dinner. This has become our Number 1 hotel in the Kaiserslautern area. That was our 3rd visit since January 2025.

There was nothing to complain about.

This was a fantastic room for our family of five. It's hard to find a room with enough beds for all three kids and a full bed for myself and my husband, but this room exceeded our expectations with space, a large couch, and TVs. We didn't get to enjoy breakfast, but the hotel is charming, and we would come back.

The bathroom had somewhat of a stinky smell, and the floors seemed like they needed a swiffer sweep & mop so our feet didn't get so dirty but it was still a very clean room.

The rooms were clean and breakfast was good. There was one young lady who worked the dining room at breakfast and she was extremely helpful every morning. She came to know what we wanted and needed and anticipated our request with a smile.

We are regulars and we are a family of three. I have teenagers and prefer a separate bedroom area in which they normally provide this without requesting. This time we were placed in a room with a couch which made it difficult to dress for work but in the morning without waking my children.

We have beeen staying here regularly when driving across Europe. Very practical, 3 min from the motorway yet very quite at night.The rooms are clean and spacious, the family room we got this time had two separate rooms. Wifi, tv etc. Pet friendly. The breakfasts are good (excellent coffee) and the restarant provides very good dinners. Parking can be crowded but we have always found a space.

The prices have increased quite a bit over the years, it might be possible to find a cheaper place in the vicinity. Otherwise no complaints.

Lovely room in a quiet location with a nice balcony- a big deal for smokers! Excellent restaurant attached is highly recommended, one of the best in the Kaiserslautern area. I used to stay here a lot, but after over ten years break, it retains its high standards and, amazingly, still had me on their system!

The parking can be a little tight, but nothing too traumatic. It is also located a good ways out from town with little else around. Not a problem for me on this occasion, but I can see how it could be for some.

The size of the room as well as its modern look and new condition was excellent. Very large bedroom and bathroom. Parking was available right next to it and it was ample. Breakfast was very good. Prompt room service and delicious food.

Only to be picky, one would have to hand carry heavy luggage up some stairs to reach the room, but truly not an issue. Location is not ideal as it is fairly far from downtown or other activities, and the dining options in the area are limited.
