Fantastic location and wonderful accommodations! We stayed in the Family Apartment and having a large bed and a sofa bed along with a full kitchen made this a perfect stay for two adults and two teenage kids. The location is quiet and within easy reach by car of the Rhein valley and the major autobahn arteries. Went for stunning hikes and runs in along the ridges and meadows near the hotel. The staff absolutely made us feel like family and gave us many recommendations for places to eat and things to do nearby. The breakfast was typical German/Continental, and featured many fresh and organic options. Well worth it!

Having a complimentary assortment of Kuchen, biscuits, or strudel available for guests as an "afternoon tea" would have been a nice touch. The ability to sit back after a day of excursions in a quiet "stammtisch" room (which they DO have) or on the patio with a complimentary biscuit or two and a hot drink would have made for perfect endings to perfect afternoons!

I just had surgery and was unaware that the hotel didn't have a lift. I then had to carry my bags up to the third floor, until to realize I had to climb a ladder to get to my bed and wardrobe. The second day I was given a new room on the first floor which made the trip that much better. I appreciate the help the lady gave me with finding another room for me. THANK YOU I LOVED THE VIEW and THE STAFF

Nice rooms, great to be able to step outside on a large balcony overlooking the courtyard. Beautiful property with nice garden. Quality of the food at the restaurant was outstanding and the service was outstanding.

There was no elevator which made it a bit of an adventure to get our large bags upstairs.

Great restaurant, nice people and beautiful environment for a run or hike. Beds and especially the pillows are great and even bought one for home! Rooms, preferably the superior-room, are well equiped and fine! My preferred hotel for a relaxed business-trip, just a 20 min drive from the city.

Lovely hotel with great restaurant that exceeded my already high expectations. The room was very clean and comfortable. Great value for money.

The room was a bit cold on arrival, which was easy to understand in the chilly conditions. This was however easily resolved by just slightly adjusting the radiators.

Price was a bit high. The carpets didn’t look very clean, provide sheets for the pull out sofa bed. It was so quiet that we felt out of place with our kids

Excellent breakfast with both made-to-order and buffet options. Staff was friendly and kind to this very poor German speaker (i.e., they spoke English, which was very much appreciated!). Super convenient to where I needed to be and close to some great hiking/running/biking paths and to reach one of the wine trails, if you have time.

Wifi wasn't super-fantastic on the 2nd floor of the two-story apartment I had but worked well enough for what I needed. Dinner can get a bit pricey, but tasted great and - to me - was worth it.

Very clean Hotel and quality food at the restaurant, Nice garden, ideal for kids. Close to the Highway, easy to find- good location.

Expensive food for the dinner, but worth it - bioproducts, probably for their own garden nearby. Persons outside the Hotel were not served for dinner :( surprisingly. The waiter was a bit insistent for taking more/spending more. But at the desk front, kind staff. Problem with Wifi on the thrid floor, but overall not significant comparing to the nice sommer atmosphere from the garden.

Excellent breakfast buffet. Very helpful staff for English speaking customers. Dinner was very good…but don’t forget to make a reservation. Availability of onsite sauna and massage.

No Air Conditioning.

The property is located a very quiet and tranquil town. In a very nature environment. The hotel also has a very good quality restaurant

I recommend a small rim with some gym equipment
