The room was smallish but very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The shower is in the bedroom so me and my almost teen son had to take turns being in the room to use it. So that was a bit weird. It's a budget hotel so very basic but it was worth the money. Parking is €14 for 24 hrs. Breakfast was €13 each because I didn't pay when booking. Basic breakfast, eggs, bread, sliced ham and cheese , cereal. But it's a buffet so plenty to eat. I would stay there again as it was close to the tram to the centre of Cologne. The area itself is a bit messy and rundown with construction going on across the street. I wouldn't use the public transport or be out and about in the area at night. We got taxis in and out and it cost about €20

The shower being in the bedroom but now I know it's a thing Maybe the glass shouldn't be transparent at all and then it won't be awkward for family members sharing a room. Also there are NO toiletries. So bring your own.

Staff were friendly, rooms are clean, pillows are good, room temperature was spot on. Basic rooms but has everything you need. Breakfast was also on par.

Although the breakfast was good, basic but good, one thing that did annoy me was that they had sliced cucumber and tomato, however whoever was slicing these was either blind or in a bad mood,sounds stupid but they were sliced so inconsistently one thick slice one thin slice one half a slice, if you’re serving a basic breakfast then make sure all the elements are presented properly. Also the hard boiled eggs were so hard boiled it was like trying to eat a dinosaur egg. Everything else was great and for a budget hotel was pretty good. Closest restaurant or eating establishment is a good 15-20 mins walk away.

Staff were super nice. I asked for a late check-out and they were very accommodating, multiple hours extre was only 20€ or so. And they actually stayed away during the late checkout/I didn't hear them cleaning right next to me. The bed was very comfortable, blankets were warm, the sheets were very white.

The sink area was perhaps excessively small, there was no convenient place to hang your towel while showering, and honestly the bed with bunk-bed above was cute but excessive; i am not sure if they had a smaller bed-setup but i would have preferred that as a solo traveler.

The location is very helpful in order not to spend time for transportation. You are maximum 5 minutes far by walking to the closest tram station and after a couple of stations, you can reach to city center. The room is designed pretty compact. There is a tiny market on the first floor that can be sufficient for daily needs in case of an urgent need.

Around the hotel there is nowhere that is closer than 10-15 minutes of walking distance to buy anything, including supermarkets or any shops. The Deutz-Messe area is on the other side of the Rhine River, that is comparatively more isolated than the side which has the city center. Also you have to ask for a hair-dryer from the lobby but as I experienced, sometimes they may forget to give you a bill in return of the 20€ deposit you pay them for the dryer. In case of a such experience, you should get ready for making them consult to each staff member in the room for giving your 20 € deposit even though you hold the dryer in your hand and it works perfectly fine. Not the best experience for a check-out.

Room was pretty small but its good enough for a short stay. The shower is just a small glass wall in the bedroom so if you're staying with friends be aware of that. Breakfast spread was pretty good to start the day and they also offer a free drink as a voucher if you ask to skip the clean. Location is about 5-10 min away from the nearest tram

The area at night is pretty dark and theres not much restaurants nearby. You'd probably have to walk to the tram to go to a busier area as it was very quiet there

Considering this is a budget hotel the look and feel of the lobby was really good. Breakfast was good too and the employees were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The location is great for anyone who has business at the trade fair/Messe Köln.

The room itself was a little odd. I don't get why they put the shower in the main room instead of having a separate bathroom. It's not like there is no separate room for the toilet, so it wouldn't have been too much of a hassle to make it a little larger. But well, it is what it is. For anyone who looks for a hotel with "tourism" intentions I would not recommend this hotel, it is a horribly dead area of Cologne and the walk to the train station isn't something I would recommend at night.

Absolutely exceeded my expectations in room cleanliness and comfort level of the beds. Staff were also very friendly and helpful! I also liked the ambient lighting in the room and the lighting controls located conveniently near the beds.

The breakfast was not very diverse, but the food was very good! Unfortunately, the location wasn't really advantageous, kind of isolated from the rest of Cologne. The walking path from the central train station to the hotel was further complicated by a construction site. The trams were fairly close and provided decent access to the city, however.

the room was clean and the bed was comfy. the shower is just a booth in the corner of the room but the water pressure and the heater worked really well to wash out my exhaustion from the trip.

they have no hair dryer available in the room, but you can borrow one from the reception (you have to deposit 20 EUR though). if you book this hotel, it is best if your train stop at messe station as it is just a short walk. but my train arrived in the central station which took around 25 minutes to walk to this hotel.

simple budget hotel. Extremely clean, quiet room, brightly lit, and not CD at all. fantastic price. I would definitely recommend. impressed that they let me order takeaway food to my room and that the driver was able to deliver it directly to my room. Thanks guys.

two. Very small things. My room had two single beds, and only one of them had a plug socket near it. and, The area. It's in is a bit out of town with nothing much going on. 50 minutes walking into town around big road infrastructure. I guess that's why it's cheap though, it's not a criticism at all. just be aware that the hotel is by no means in the town centre. otherwise, cracking place.

The room I got was spacious, it seemed to be for a couple with a small kid. As I was alone, it was quite comfortable. It was quiet and clean.

You have the shower and the sink in the middle of the room (I knew already from the photos). This is weird. As I was alone, this is not a problem, but if you are sharing with someone, it should be someone you don't mind seeing you naked during and after shower. The sink was also quite small and not convenient.
