This hotel is a little gem. We had to get off the road because it was dark and raining too much. The hotel is situated on a hill with great views during the day. It is fairly close to the A 7 and very quiet. The room was spacious, newly renovated, and very comfortable. Staff were super friendly. The restaurant had great food and breakfast had a variety of food options. Also loved the music playing at the restaurant. Would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable small hotel with a restaurant, very nicely located with fantastic views not far from Autobahn. The food in the restaurant was good. The vegan alternatives at dinner and breakfast were very appreciated.

The perfume sticks in the bathroom could perhaps have been avoided, can be disturbing for sensitive persons.

Excellent location with a great view in a quiet area. We stayed here while traveling as pit stop overnight. Great beer garden and delicious food.

Very nice hotel with fantastic views to the Rhön. Very nice breakfast with scrambled eggs made for you personally, from real eggs of course. Highly recommended.

Lovely bathroom, fabulous view

Our room was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Breakfast very nice, lots of choice.

The food is not “homemade” as stated in the menu, rather than prepared with convenient food ingredients.

The main entrance is not maintained; there is cigarettes and other trash everywhere. Missing service in general. There were no one in the reception when we arrived (afternoon). We had to walk around and yell “hallo” to find someone who could help us check in. At the check in, we asked if we could eat at the Biergarten in the evening. We were told that it would not be an issue; we were not asked or advised to make a reservation. We arrived at the Biergarten early around 6 pm. We were told to sit at a table in the corner while the waiter found a chair for our child. We were not able to find the mentioned table and asked a different waiter who now told us that they suddenly did not have anything available because they were under staffed. The first waiter came back with a chair for our child, argued a bit with the second waiter and told us that they did not have anything available. We then asked if they could reserve a table for us if someone left, so that we would try and come back 30 minutes later. They refused since they did not make any reservations after 6 pm. We left and had dinner down town.
