The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in quite a remote location so with this in mind, they do make the hotel very comfortable and there are some very nice little touches which make it feel very homely. The rooms are quite basic but they are very comfortable and clean so no problems there. The breakfast is very good which again, given the remote location is very helpful.

It's common throughout Germany but the bed situation is strange. A double bed (two singles pushed together) but only a single duvet? Also, just one pillow which doesn't have much to it. Better (and more) pillows anda better duvet (a double) would be more comfortable.

Great hotel, have stayed here a couple of times. Staff are very friendly...the hotel is very clean and quiet and the location is convenient to bahnhof. The pizzeria downstairs is a bonus, great food, great staff with good servings and price. I highly recommend the hotel.

everything was nice.

they only thing I didn't like was the size of the shower. it was a pretty tight fit for a bigger guy, like myself. And I don't know what it is with these full size mattresses everywhere I go I Germany? I keep waking up because I almost fall put of bed! I miss my Cali king

The staff were very friendly, the room was spotlessly clean and of good size (also pretty and romantic), the location of the hotel is perfect (near the train station and my former neighbourhood), there’s a nice Italian restaurant downstairs, and the breakfast was very nice (especially the eggs).

Location was good for what we wanted.

Would have liked more amenities in the room. Coffee maker would have been a good idea. A smart TV that would enable us to stream programs in our language. An option for a small continental breakfast at a lower price.

Friendly and flexible people. Appears recently renovated. Execellent wifi. Most suited for travel-overnight or stay for particular purpose in the area. Less as a holiday-location. Great breakfast for a great price.

Nothing...everything was perfect

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Am Westend. Very clean and spacious rooms with good desk space. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were friendly and very helpful. I enjoyed the location as it was 2 minutes walk from the train station, and yet very quiet. Very easy access to the town center with the regional bus sytem (takes 5 mins) from a hub at the train station. Large outdoor spaces (tables on terrasse and balcony) and a large salon with tables and couches to relax with a beer/coffee; especially if you are a large group. (Bottle openers on each table = civilized country!) Supermarket, bank, and bars just outside the door. Bike rental a short walk from the hotel. I will gladly stay here again.

A nice hotel near the railway station which was what I wanted .its 2k to town centre but there is a bus station next to railway and hotel .Nice people good rooms and restaurant excellent. Quiet but you can get anywhere you want from here .

The room was good sized, and the bed was very comfortable. I arrived late for breakfast, so the trays were somewhat empty, but what was there was quite good.
