The location was excellent, close to the Europa Park attraction park. Room was very big and clean. Parking on the property. A boul of fruit, cookies and mineral water was left for us in the room, which was a nice touch.

We arrived rather early and the reception was closed. We did have the room code sent in advance so could enter the room but we had a small issue with the air conditioner and no one we could ask for help. Breakfast was very nice but in a restaurant setting, we would have had a preference for a buffet setting

Exceptional in all aspects, cleanliness, room amenities, amazingly rich, healthy and tasty breakfast, friendliness and service of staff. We were all very satisfied with our stay, children and adults!

Church next door bells may wake you up if you have light sleep. Would suggest using earplugs, otherwise sleep quality in comfortable bet linen and bed mattress is great !

We had a family room in the new building. It was newly build and very spacious. Spotless cleaning throughout the room and the hotel. Beautiful dining area with rich breakfast served at your table . The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Stay there if you want to visit Black Forest, Europa-Park, Strasbourg, Colmar and Freiburg.

We had a fantastic stay! Our apartment (no. 1) was beautifully designed and well quipped with a tasteful, modern decor and attention to every detail.. It’s spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and went out of her way to assist us in a private matter. The breakfast was exceptionally good, prepared with the same high quality standard and careful attention to detail. Highly recommend this place.

Wonderful appartment, extremely clean, luxurious and comfortable. Nice staff. Convenient check-in through key-box. Location for Europapark is excellent. Breakfast is absolutely fantastic, but for us far too much and a little too complicated. You can, however, ask for anything to suit your own preference. Maybe as a family, we just prefer buffet style breakfast, instead of a la carte, especially when travelling with our teenage children.

Would have liked insect screens in front of windows. Even in October, we could not open windows, due to mosquitos. Perhaps a few hooks to hang coats downstairs. All very minor issues. Overall, very pleased with our stay!

We had a great stay at DER OSCHEN. The room was comfortable and super clean, very well equipped too. The breakfast was so good, only fresh products and many options. Staff was very nice and accomodated to us speaking english, which was really appreciated. Overall, we recommend !

The cuckoo clock sings every hour, and we had a hard time turning it off to go to sleep.

We were simply looking for a place to stay with the family on our way to Europa Park. This exceeded our expectations. We had apartment n° 5, on the corner of the property. The place was light and airy, the beds very comfortable, the bathroom really nice and clean, and the kitchen stocked with everything you need. the breakfast was exceptional, and the service super friendly and helpful. We really liked our stay and wished we had more time to spend in the apartment.

The village where the apartment is located is not particularly exciting - there's not much going on, even though you can walk to the pizzeria, the bakery, or the next supermarket (Edeka). Most people stay there because they booked a day at Europa Park it seems.

Our stay was simply perfect. We really liked how beautifully and stylishly they renovated such a lovely historic building. The rooms were very elegant, comfortable and stylish. The breakfast had a large variety, was healthy, and very delicious. And the incredible kind staff made our trip unforgettable.

Breakfast is a la carte The clock at the adjacent church is ringing every 15 minutes , most annoying is at 6am for 5 minutes was ringing and wake us up

We had an amazing stay at Der Ochsen! The staff were very kind and welcoming, the room and all facilities were clean and well organized. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic. We traveled as a group and Der Ochsen made our stay truly unforgettable. Highly recommended!
