The location was excellent, close to the Europa Park attraction park. Room was very big and clean. Parking on the property. A boul of fruit, cookies and mineral water was left for us in the room, which was a nice touch.

We arrived rather early and the reception was closed. We did have the room code sent in advance so could enter the room but we had a small issue with the air conditioner and no one we could ask for help. Breakfast was very nice but in a restaurant setting, we would have had a preference for a buffet setting

We had a fantastic stay! Our apartment (no. 1) was beautifully designed and well quipped with a tasteful, modern decor and attention to every detail.. It’s spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and went out of her way to assist us in a private matter. The breakfast was exceptionally good, prepared with the same high quality standard and careful attention to detail. Highly recommend this place.

Wonderful appartment, extremely clean, luxurious and comfortable. Nice staff. Convenient check-in through key-box. Location for Europapark is excellent. Breakfast is absolutely fantastic, but for us far too much and a little too complicated. You can, however, ask for anything to suit your own preference. Maybe as a family, we just prefer buffet style breakfast, instead of a la carte, especially when travelling with our teenage children.

Would have liked insect screens in front of windows. Even in October, we could not open windows, due to mosquitos. Perhaps a few hooks to hang coats downstairs. All very minor issues. Overall, very pleased with our stay!

We were simply looking for a place to stay with the family on our way to Europa Park. This exceeded our expectations. We had apartment n° 5, on the corner of the property. The place was light and airy, the beds very comfortable, the bathroom really nice and clean, and the kitchen stocked with everything you need. the breakfast was exceptional, and the service super friendly and helpful. We really liked our stay and wished we had more time to spend in the apartment.

The village where the apartment is located is not particularly exciting - there's not much going on, even though you can walk to the pizzeria, the bakery, or the next supermarket (Edeka). Most people stay there because they booked a day at Europa Park it seems.

We decided upon this place, based on the location to the Europa Park in Rust. It was an easy and short drive from the park (about 15 min.). The place was in a quiet neighborhood. There was ample (free) parking spaces available. The apartment was clean and adequately equipped with the essentials in the kitchen (coffee maker, some coffee, dishes, utensils, cookware, etc.) and bathroom (towels, soap). The check-in instructions were sent via text message and easy to understand. I was navigated to a lockbox and then the message explained how to find and enter my apartment. I had no human interaction during the check-in procedure, due to checking in late. However, it was not a problem for me as they provided good instructions on how to get in and find the place. During the check out procedure the staff was courteous and communicated in a nice and friendly manner. I did not take advantage of the breakfast they offered, therefore, I cannot speak to that. We enjoyed the luxury of having an air condition, which was easy to set to our comfort level. The air condition was quiet and barely noticeable. I also liked being able to open the windows in the evening, for a nice breeze. The window blinds/shades are lovely, as they can make the room completely dark, allowing for a restful sleep. The mattress in the main bedroom was on the firmer side, which I loved. I woke up with no back pain or any other aches on my body. The bedrooms are equipped with closets for easy storage of your items.

The space appeared smaller than expected but still adequate enough for my family (3 people). If you are a person that likes to use a washrag (wash cloth) to shower, please bring your own, as in Europe most places do not have them. If you bring large suitcases, you may have to open and leave them in the hallway/downstairs as the rooms are small (unless you store you items inside the closet).

The hotel is a wonderful example of how the rustic ambient and historic look can be combined with the current modern feeling and making everything look beautiful, clean and pleasant to stay/use. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean, everything is at your disposal. Internet work smoothly and all the small additions make the whole experience feel like you are in a very This hotel is for sure a great stay. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and arranged everything to make our stay pleasant and easy to come after the reception hours. The breakfast was superb! The restaurant looks absolutely beautiful with the very nice decor and nice emphasis on details and cleanliness. The breakfast options are really good and the food was delicious, local, fresh and very, very tasty. With the presentation of the food in a very nice arrangement (see photos), the hotel with its breakfast is on the level of a 4*-5* restaurant, so for any foodie out there the hotel is a perfect stay, for sure! All in all, the whole experience with the hotel was perfect, which is a rare thing in today's time. I can say with certainty this hotel is one of the best I have been to and I definitely recommend anyone to stay here, also because it is very close to many attractions and close to the highway, but still enough away to give that special feeling coming from the historic ambient of the hotel. I will for sure come back to enjoy such a superb experience, thank you Ochsen for such a great stay, service and warm welcoming feeling!

Absolutely nothing!

The breakfast was superb! The room was very clean. Staff polite and friendly

In essence we liked everything, slight thing to improve if there are any future renovations: in our room the bathroom was very small and I am a big guy. Otherwise it was great!

Spacious apartment, very clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast! Very close to Europa Park and a big supermarket is nearby.

We had to sleep with the windows closed due to the nearby church bells ringing every 15 minutes.

Great space, super clean and easy to find

Small things only - Parking was not well organized when it was full the cars couldn’t park next to each other because some guests took up too much space. No restaurant for dinner later in the evening.

Staff were kind and helpful. They provide halal plates during breakfast. The family apartment had every thing we needed.

The apartment had only one shower room. The ironing and laundry facilities are shared and are located in the front building.
