Very nice room, equipped with a capsule coffee machine, you even get a few free cups. We had modern bathroom and shower and plenty of fresh towels. The staff in the hotel and restaurant were very friendly! Only a 20min drive away from Europa Park, while still in a quiet neighborhood.

The matrasses were a bit too soft, and maybe could use a replacement soon.

A wonderful small hotel with lots of regional details in architecture but also in room decorations. The staff was wonderful and very helpful in answering all our questions. Good breakfast and we had a great dinner at the hotel that night. Also conveniantly located very near Europa-Park.

Clean room, very comfortable bed. Everything was just perfect. The coffee in the room was a very nice touch. Amazing breakfast and dinner. Very friendly staff!

Not the best sound isolation, but everything was quiet in the evening

All very clean; we were a family of 5 and the room was perfect, one big size bed (queen size?) and 3 individual beds. All very comfortable and CLEAN. Great Shower. Maybe the wifi signal was not the best.

We stayed here as a family of 4 and we all very much enjoyed our short stay at Hotel Sonne in Mahlberg. A lovely peaceful village and a real gem of a hotel. The staff were so friendly and the food was so wonderful. The rooms had everything we needed and at such a fantastic value for money. We have travelled extensively throughout Europe by car for many years staying at hotels at all price levels and this Gasthof is very close to the top of our list. The evening dinner was superb and probably the best breakfast ever in the morning. Excellent location for a visit to Europa Park or Funny World or as a gateway to the Black Forest.

Beautiful location in the middle of a small village and near Europapark. Very clean and spatious room.

It was a very warm summer day and we had a room on the second floor which stayed quite hot all night.

The team is super nice and makes everything for a comfortable stay The location is perfect for traveling around the area. good breakfast and a fine restaurant for those who return tired in the evenings.

My only comment is about the mattresses in the beds... could be much better.

Nothing really! Maybe more cooling in the rooms for summer

Nice surroundings, quiet, clean and spacious room.

The only drawback was that the shower was lacking a door and water went everywhere no matter how careful you were.

We came to Europe Park etc and the location was excellent. The staff were very nice. Breakfast was very good and the restaurant was very good for dinner. It was a local hotel as we wished for.
