Comfortable bed. We arrived late in the evening and I was able to order food at the restaurant for our arrival, just before they took last orders. I really appreciated that. We could leave the car in the inner courtyard for a €15 fee which was good with our full ski box (also free parking outside).

We stayed here because of the Restaurant. Rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. Fairly recent build. Free parking. The hotel itself is in a little village south of Gottingen, but there is nothing else there…. Would be a good venue for a wedding etc.

It’s a bit isolated. The main train line from Frankfurt to Hanover runs beside the hotel, so you need the windows closed at night in your room.

As the gastronomic restaurant was closed on Monday, we had dinner in Zur Schänke and enjoyed some rustic dishes, like Sulze, in generous size. Good size bathroom, perfectly clean and comfortable beds. The breakfast was particularly good with egg dishes prepared to order. We could park in the courtyard which was appreciated.

No negative points come to mind.

Located in a quaint little town, very nice amenities and super comfortable. Also very clean and kid friendly. Loved the sauna!

There is a train nearby which you can hear pass by, but it is subtle and I realized that our room was facing that direction. Restaurant portions are huge! Definitely 1 plate is enough for 2 people

Quiet small pretty village (although trains passing nearby but not intrusive). Wonderfully comfortable bed, pillows and room. Fruit kindly left in room. Evening meal superb as was the plentiful breakfast. We had a balcony overlooking pretty timbered buildings. Not far from motorway so a fabulous stopover.

In the morning, the receptionist could not speak English, then another younger lady keep answering to me in German, If could speak in German, I would have not be speaking to staff in English. I understand NO German, it is difficult language to learn.

We really liked the selection and variety of foods offered at Landhaus Biewald. The Breakfast buffet had a superb selection of sausages and cheeses, as well as fruits, smoothies and sweets. The dinner menu was also quite good.

There is really nothing to complain about.

Friendly staff and extremely clean in a magic rural atmosphere. breakfast was divine and not only the buttered scrambled eggs and the tender salmon accompanied by freshly squeezed orange juice, a absolute dream. I went to heaven and back. Nice!

well well well, my pregnant wife struggled unfortunately to find the right pillow to put in between her legs. But we managed to get a good night sleep and even we had to start our morning without any coffe until breakfast we enjoyed our stay very much. * myself was unfortunately to tall for the shower situation in the bathroom so I struggled a bit to take a shower without hitting my head every 5min. but still positive overall.

Everything was absolutely perfect. I would like to especially highlight how incredibly comfortable the bed was - it truly made a difference in helping us relax and get a restful night's sleep.

Great hotel, very comfortable, beautiful village and surrounding countryside! Good food too

Unfortunately it’s situated right next to a very noisy railway line. There is also a neighbour who is a nightmare and looking for trouble regarding dogs (mine are very well behaved) and check online rates before booking.
