For context: this is obviously a budget chain hotel, focused on the essential amenities, but with some nice touches to make it stand out in that category. - Spacious, modern, and clean room. - Great breakfast buffet (*at the sister hotel see note below) - Efficient and friendly staff - Access to a nearby gym with top notch facilities. - Good value (price/quality) * At the time of writing, the reception at the hotel was not operational so check-in and breakfast were at the nearby sister hotel (10min walk or 3mins by car). I was informed of this by e-mail on booking, with clear instructions, and it all worked smoothly with minimal disturbance. Apparently reception will be fully functional from December onwards.

Though I booked Novum Hotel initially, but I was given a room in their sister property, SELECT HOTEL, just 3-5 minutes walk. It appears much bigger and classy. Everything about Select Hotel is immaculate and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was topnotch and staff were friendly, responsive and respectful. EasyJet messed up my flight from the UK to Germany, via Amsterdam, and I had 48-hour delay. I reached out to Novum Hotel and they agreed to adjust my check-in date and charged me extra £25 which was okay.

I couldn't charge my devices in the room the first night as the sockets were different from the UK standard, and the rooms were not fitted with USB ports. It was the next day I was given an adaptor socket to remedy the issue.

Hotel Freiraum offers a modern and peaceful atmosphere. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed, providing a relaxing environment. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh and varied options to choose from. The location is quiet yet conveniently close to the city.

It’s on a quite place near some forest scene. Clean and solid building. Reception guy was good. And the staff was good too when we were having breakfast. We took a walk outside the hotel and the neighborhood and the area was nice too.

It may need some more isolation between rooms but it’s ok since the hotel is not new. But Still it’s a quite hotel. I suggest it.

The room was very nice for the money you pay. Nice beds and matras.

You have to check in at a nearby hotel which is mentioned on a card board at the reception as nobody was there

Excellent quiet location. Free parking underground. Tasty generous breakfast. Maybe we've stayed here 10 times already. What more can I say?

The breakfast was very nice.

On booking.com the hotel said they had a laundry that could be used but were told there was none when we arrived. Being able to do our laundry was the main reason for selecting this facility. They need to take that off booking.com if it is not offered.

Breakfast had a great selection and variety of food. Beds were very comfortable, room was quiet. Very clean room.

Check-in was a little awkward. Went to the hotel and it was locked. Noticed a sign on the door re-directing us to a sister hotel about 450 meters away for a check-in. There we were provided with a entrance key and room key for Novum Freiraum StattHotel.
