Very good hotel. Clean rooms, varied breakfast, delicious dinner, friendly staff. I recommend! I will definitely come again.

Very nice hotel and warm reception. Although they have a little bit difficulty in speaking English and mistaken the breakfast which we need to pay extra instead of "inclusive" in the room fee, it was a nice stay. The restaurant serves good food but very large quantity. Fortunately the host offers happily takeout boxes, so we ordered one meal and finishes two.

Staff was very helpful, they made exception for allowing late check-in even after stipulated time as we got late on the road. Swimming pool and sauna was great. Location was pretty good right on the hoghway

Breakfast was pretty average, mostly supermarket ensamble for juices, breads,yoghurt, cereals, cheeses, boiled eggs and some fruits.

Amazing! I wish I could stay here longer than just one night. The area is so beautiful with some hiking opportunities, there is a pool working from 8 in the morning. The room is well equipped with glasses, cups, coffee mashine. Wifi is good, breakfas also.

All around a great stay; very clean room and a very comfortable hotel all over. Very friendly and efficient staff (we needed to do some "emergency" ironing - crushed shirt from suitcase -and the staff was incredibly helpful with bringing us an iron and board). Had a lovely dinner on the day we arrived and their breakfast is very generous (nice fresh fruit every morning). We didn't go for a swim in the pool but will definitely do so next time (nice sun lounge area inside and outside). Also, they have an electric car charging station which was really convenient as we didn't have to go into Bärental to look for a charger. The views from their terrace outside are absolutely gorgeous (great for evening drinks).

Beautiful location, nice hotel with tasty breakfast and dinner, the place provides basically everything you need for a comfortable stay and has a great vibe of a Black Forest. The view from our window was amazing as well.

The walls are quite thin, so you might hear your neighbours and everything that is going on in the corridor

Only a minor point that I was informed by email before arriving that there was apparently a set menu in the restaurant but then there was only a la carte. Not a big problem at all.

Breakfast was good, and the room was clean. Pool and sauna were nice and not crowded.

The guy at the reception was not the most welcoming person. The room was facing a field full of cows which bells were continuously ringing during the night, again this is not a problem with the hotel but the fact that it was hot and we had to leave the windows open made it difficult to sleep with the cows! Air conditioning or fans in the rooms would make the stay more comfortable for hot days.
