Lovely cosy hotel in a beautiful location with picture perfect view from oyr rooms balcony. We got the family flat so had a little kitchen as well that was well equipt. Everything was super clean and comfortable and the hosts Anna and Martin were super friendly and helpfull. The breakfast at the hotel was not included but we added it at a very reasonable price for 2 mornings and it was delicious and with beautiful view of mountains. Location was perfect about 15-30 min drive from most if the attractions in the area. Lake Titisee, Feldberg mountain, etc... Highly recommended :)

Nothing! Everytjing was perfect

Great place to stay near Feldberg, just a very short ride from the mountain trails! The hosts were incredibly nice, and breakfast was delicious! The property is beautiful, situated at the top of a mountain in a small village :)

The only thing that can improve is the wifi - it was ok most of the time, but disconnected one night for about 20 minutes, which was slightly annoying since there is no reception otherwise, and we were planning our next day's hike. Otherwise this place is perfect!

The apartment was spacious, quiet, clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The view from the windows is amazing. The quiet and safe surroundings allowed us to drink our coffee quietly while the kids were playing on the trampoline outside. The owners are so sweet! They were welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. The place offers an EV charger as well as laundry - both were very useful for us. The location is perfect for all black forest attractions. We were sad to leave.

Lovely, well equipped apartment, with huge bedroom. Lots of windows to beautiful outside space. The sauna was a real treat!

Sadly we missed out on several nights due to a passport issue - nothing to do with the property, but we were sorry to miss our time there as we didn’t feel we saw all the place had to offer. We hope to return some day. TV & wifi connections weren’t great, not too much of a problem for us but it could have been frustrating if you were relying on it.

Exceptionally clean and well cared for guesthouse. Good breakfast choice. Lovely surroundings and a good base for visiting the south Black Forest.

Unfortunately, the night we arrived other guests were using the breakfast room above our bedroom (5) to socialise, with loud noise past midnight. It wasn’t an issue any other night and was generally very quiet. The WiFi didn’t work the first night but no problems during the rest of our stay.

This place is AMAZING I traveled with my husband and our 2 kids. This place had everything we needed. A beautiful apartment with a green forest view to the backyard. The backyard had some games for the kids and a small trampoline which kept them busy when we enjoyed the hotel breakfast. The host was super nice and very helpful with tips. Even did our laundry because the one in our apartment building was broken.

My husband loved the breakfast. To me it was missing a few ingredients. But overall, it was still good and freshly made.

Martin and Anna were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome on our visit. The room was large enough for myself, wife and son who slept in a separate toddler bed. There are lots of outdoor activities for children (including a huge trampoline) and the breakfast was great. If you enjoy walking, there is an amazing trail located minutes from the hotel with picturesque views. Ideally, you need a car to reach Schwarzwald-Hotel Kraeutle. We will definitely return to further explore the area!

The garden with the playground for kids has trampoline, swings and more in the best view. Amazing for little children

We had an amazing stay at the Black Forest, the hotel is in the middle of the nature. The hosts are super nice, they offered us an upgrade and we stayed in the appartement instead of the studio and it was so much more comfortable with our baby. There is everything you need if you are traveling with children. The hosts organise a barbecue for dinner during weekends and the food is very tasty (and they even have a vegetarian option). Thank you for making our stay so special. I highly recommend this place and we really want to come back in the future ! Everything was perfect.

The hotel is super clean, the breakfast is really fresh and tasty with different options and great portions. The bed is comfortable. The hotel is well maintained and the staff is really nice and helpful. They want their guests to be comfortable.
