We had a really nice stay! A relaxing, clean room with plenty of storage space for clothes etc; friendly people; great starting point for hiking trails in all directions. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of grains/cereal, yogurt, bread, cheese, cold cuts, eggs (besides the boiled eggs already in the buffet, you can ask for scrambled/fried/omelette with bacon to be made on the spot) — my partner is usually pretty picky because he wants to eat healthy, but he was very happy with the selection available here, and we could charge up for the full day of hiking ahead. We also enjoyed the unique “wellness” extras, like the sauna and relaxation room where you can go in the bathrobes and slippers they provide — it’s a nice alternative if you happen to get bad weather during a stay. I borrowed a hiking rucksack for free as well, which was helpful. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the lady managing the restaurant/dining room. The terrace with the meadow stretching out was nice to lounge on. Overall a bright, peaceful atmosphere — would definitely stay again if we’re back in the area.

Nothing! If you go for dinner at their restaurant, the “Schwarzwaldmädchen” dessert wasn’t really worth it, but the brownie was 👌 And their salad bar was the best.

We had an incredible stay at Burghotel Feldberg! From the moment we arrived, the staff was outstanding – friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. This hotel is perfect for families, as it’s extremely kid-friendly, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The food was simply amazing – every meal felt like a treat! The rooms were spotless and had a modern design, offering all the comfort we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is fantastic, close to nature with stunning views, making it a great base for exploring the area. Highly recommended!

Location is great, family suite is pretty large, Beautiful and quite surrounding. Great place to stay. Very good breakfast. Staff is friendly and helpful. highly recommend this place.

I give this place 8 because of the restaurant. We eat dinner twice, and it was not too good. In general, the food was average. Cordon Blue was served cold (!) inside.

The staff there were so lovely and the hotel itself is quiet and well situated (we had a car). We booked a family room with balcony which also has two toilets which is great if you have a few people. It was lovely to have the balcony to sit out on in the afternoon. There was a continental breakfast with boiled eggs in a lovely room.

The kitchenette is fine but extremely limited if you actually wanted to cook or anything. It has very limited supplies but luckily we only needed the fridge. The pillows were super uncomfortable for me and had we stayed longer I would have needed something else. I think they could benefit from having soap dispensers (most the hotels in Germany we stayed in have them now) in the shower rather than the very small gel/shampoo bottles. The parking is a bit limited but we managed to park a little down the path. I also think the rooms could benefit from having some fans as in the summer it gets quite hot and no air conditioning.

Ski location, offered bus tickets for our stay, overnight garage parking availabity for 10 euros a night., balcony suite room 308 was nice view Nice saunas and area to keep ski boots and skis

Fri. night couldnt find parking had to use public parking. Sat. garage parking was available to use. so we used it. Happy to have used their bus tickets they offered to compensate. Dinner: chicken dish was bland- expensive menu. 4.90 for wasser

-Hoetel exceed my expectation. -Restaurant food was delicious and the staff services very warm welcoming. -Outside you will find the ski lift with amazing mountains views offering various experience opportunities. - We finished almost each of our days at the hotel spa area having a sauna for relaxation

Pillows on the sleeping bed weren't necessary a good one. Just too flat and soft in my opinion.

The breakfast was outstanding. We were given an upgraded room with amazing views. The Spa was very relaxing after a hard day of skiing.

The floors in our suite could have been swept. It seems that the floor wasn't clean for our entire stay.

The staff is very helpful and friendly, and lent us a hiking map for the week of our stay. The breakfast buffet was extensive and interesting, and every possible dietary concern was addressed. There was fresh gluten-free bread waiting for me on our table every morning, and we were able to order eggs and bacon each morning. The spa area was new, well kept and clean with a few places to relax, read, or snooze between saunas. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and well appointed. We enjoyed relaxing on the large terrace with a beer after our daily hikes.

The floor in the spa area is pretty dangerously slippery when wet, particularly when wearing the little slippers provided by the hotel. The spa is only open until 7pm, which for me was a bit too early. A few extra throw cushions are needed for the rather hard sofa in the room.

we stayed in a family room with some friends which was a lot of fun. clean room and comfy sleeping opportunities. the bar is nice as well.

dinner was okay unfortunately the steak we ordered was not done to exceptation twice. but the super friendly staff handled the situation very well and deducted the steak from the bill. the rest of our food was fine though.

We had an excellent experience at this hotel and would definitely stay here again. The hotel is conveniently located close to the stop of bus 7300. The room was spacious, sparkling clean, with a beautiful view on forest. It was around zero degrees outside, and it was very comfortable in the room. The bed was spacious and comfortable. An electric kettle was available. The buffet breakfast was very good - included hot eggs, all kinds of cold cuts, deserts, fruits, all kinds of drinks. In the evening you can enjoy local dishes at the restaurant. Opposite the hotel there is a walking path that will take you to the top of the Feldberg mountain after 60-90 minutes of slow walking. Overall, the hotel is of high quality and located in a very beautiful place.

Although the bed, in principle, was comfortable, the pillows were a bit too thin for me. However, there were two pillows for each guest, so I stacked mine to elevate the head.
