Super nice family run hotel. The owners know their business and guest needs as they have run the place for 7 generations and you feel this at every corner of the hotel. Rooms are very spacious and comfy. The same for really BIG and comfy beds. The internet coverage and speed is great. Breakfast very good and with ample choice and scramble egg is really well made and tasty.

I would only like that the fullness of my hapiness I would need a kettle to make tea/coffee in the room.

Very good breakfast, excellent dinner and wines, both taken on their very nice terrace. We were given an attractive balcony room, more a little suite, with great character. Great location, station and excellent open air swimming pool all walking distance.

It was exceptionally hot and humid, so maybe some aircon would have been good, but I can understand that it might not be worth it for the short period it would be needed; Wi-Fi dropped off sometimes, but these are very minor issues.

Hotel is perfect especially for families with children. The suite was spacious, very clean and seems newly renovated. our experience was completely different, staying in a family owned & operated hotel in a beautiful suburban town 10 mins away from Freiburg city center and sleeping with our windows open feeling the nice cool weather at night. Even though the rooms are renovated but you can still sense the authenticity of the place. The staff were amazing, very helpful, caring and tentative, they made our stay extra special.

Absolutely noting, but If I would say one thing would be the no lift in the property but it’s just 2 stories high.

We stayed in a suite - it was clean, comfortable, and the bathroom was much more spacious than I'd anticipated. We were only there for a short time during our wedding weekend, but I was happy to enjoy the nice bathtub and relax during one of our evenings. A few of our friends and family also booked here and all enjoyed their unique rooms. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the location was convenient and beautiful. The children's bed we'd asked for wasn't in our room when we first arrived, but when we brought it to their attention they immediately sent one up.

It would have been nice to have had a kettle in the room with some herbal teas rather than having to go down to the bar to ask.

From check-in to check-out everything went smoothly. Breakfast was amazing and the variety of breads, meats, and cheeses were delicious!! Our interaction with staff was met with friendliness and all were extrememly helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

weak or absent internet on terrace of restaurant in front of the hotel. only MTB ebikes can be rent, no normal ebikes.

The breakfast was excellent! Fresh ingredients and a great selection and presentation. We also got our dinner brought to the room where we felt really at home. The staff made us feel very special and the stay was a real treat.

Everything was fantastic, nothing that I'd change. We will certainly stay here again if we are travelling in the area.
