Clean, spacious room with balcony to sit and relax. A kettle in the room is a great addition (not standard in German hotels) Brilliant is the regional public transport ticket provided during your stay which gets you as far as Titisee-Neustadt, ideal to explore the beautiful region. Hotel is located close to tramline with regular service to city and train station (10mins). The Seepark is across the road, ideal for a morning stroll around the lake.

The drain smell in the bathroom was quite strong for a while after having a shower, and the stained toilet seat should be replaced.

For the city, it's ideal. Three tram stops using the free voucher in your room and you can explore the city to your hearts content. Tram #1

Through Booking.com you do not get the correct booking reference so contact the hotle before to get the correct 4 digit booking reference (not your Booking.com PIN number!). Don't stay there if you want a full on breakfast, it's like the hotel itself, uncomplicated and very modest. Car parking is very limited (maybe 10 in total) and they're very tight spaces.

This is the third time we have stayed at this Hotel and we have always enjoyed our stay. The staff have always been exceptional and very helpful and the cleanliness of the room could not be faulted. The breakfast was as always very good. Excellent overall with the exception of our arrival. The best asset the Hotel has is the staff. The Lady at breakfast on our last day was excellent, the lady on our first morning at reception was also very helpful but best of all was the gentleman working at the reception on Monday morning. An excellent asset for the Hotel.

Our booking was over the weekend and due to traffic issues we arrived about 1730hrs. There was not any reception staff located at the Hotel at this time! We had great difficulty gaining access to the Hotel as all the pin numbers we were given did not work and therefore we were unable to gain access. The lady we phoned (Hotel Contact Number) was very helpful but even the numbers she had suggested did not work. Eventually we were given a number that worked. Stressful to say the least! We had also booked Garage Parking but unfortunately it was not available on our arrival but was offered the following day. To give the Hotel credit, the lady at the reception early on the following day was very helpful and offered a resolution regarding the garage.

Excellent reception service by the front desk gentlemen. All requirements were clearly explained to us. We were given free passes for tram, buses rides throughout our stay which greatly helps us to get around Freiburg.

Nothing. Short of a little exercise required to get our luggage to the 2nd floor as this is a non-elevator establishment. Anyway, the highest floor is the 2nd floor too.

Perfect location, a short tram ride from station and city centre and 5 mins walk from Seepark. Quiet and safe location and that is why this was my 2nd time here 😊 On arrival the friendly receptionist went over and above to give me the room I wanted, which was great! The hotel provides a public transport ticket during your stay, which can be used throughout the region! Excellent!

Although there was choice available, I felt that the breakfast was quite basic and the presentation not great. But it was ok at the price.

The employees were very friendly. The rooms were bigger than expected and had a nice area to set luggage. Breakfast was well worth the €9/day fee. We slept well every night and enjoyed the services at the hote!

Honestly, nothing! As an American, we were accustomed to aircon everywhere. Our rooms did not have aircon but the open windows and the fan made the place feel cool and comfortable while sleeping.

Convenient location for walking into theCity centre, nice soft towels, clean rooms with complimentary water and a great breakfast. Staff were helpful and friendly. We hired cycles from the hotel which were a real bargain at €5 per day. The room was spacious and clean. We were able to park our motorcycles in the garage under ground for free. Reception closes at 4 on the weekend but there are systems in place if you arrive outside of this time, we were greeted by a gentleman who was very helpful and friendly as were all of the staff we interacted with.

It was very hot in the room due to the current high temperature and no air conditioning in the rooms which we were aware of, maybe fans could be provided in such circumstances in the future.

The hotel was in a perfect location, 3 minute walk to the tram stop. Room was basic, but very clean. Nice to have a balcony! Breakfast was good. The staff were lovely. The hotel supplied a travel ticket which gave us free use of the trams and trains, so we made good use of both and visited lake Titisee while we were there.

The staff were all excellent especially the receptionist who was super helpful and gave us some good tips as well as making sure we had everything we needed. Getting access to the rooms after hours was also really easy - it was something I was a little worried about but I need not have been concerned

The rooms are a touch spartan but for the price, it didn’t matter to me, especially as we were only there one night.
