It was conveniently located between Freiburg downtown and Gundelfingen, where we were visiting friends. Open parking, coffee and snack machines in lobby. The linens, bedding, etc were very clean. Staff was also friendly.

The smells! There is a natural gas plant (?) nearby whick makes the whole surroundings smell most of the time. The bathroom was stinky. The main entrance and halls stunk of cigarettes because smokers were standing at open doors. Under beds and floor corners were not the cleanest.

Surprisingly good noise absorbing construction - I stayed four nights and I never heard the neighbours nor any street noise (and I slept late!). Staff at the reception was prompt and welcoming.

Paid parking despite the fact that on the street behind the hotel there is free parking. Housekeeping could be improved - the bathroom was mostly clean but I am not sure the carpet in my room was actually vacuumed. Also, in the last day the housekeeping guy came in at 9 am despite the “do not disturb” sign on the door and check-out time being 12 - I did not appreciate losing 2h of sleep as I had a long drive ahead of me.

This was my second time staying here due to my surgery at the Gelenk Klinik nearby and it's a very nice and affordable hotel. It's close to Gundelfingen and pretty close to the center of town. The breakfast is very nice, the bed was super comfy and I had a nice view of the sunset from my room. The staff are friendly and helped me get a taxi to the hospital when I was leaving. I would book again because the price is so good.

There's not much in the immediate area apart from a McDonalds and Burger King, it's location is a bit isolated, but ultimately, it's not that far from the city center.

nice clean place, easy to find with onsite parking, The chap opened up the eating area for me so I could have a decent cup of coffee as it was 9pm and had closed for the day.

Did not mention that they would charge 12 euros per dog (I had 2 small dogs) so I was a bit put out with this. I did say on b.com that I had 2 dogs but apparently (this happened on my outward journey too) b.com did not pass this on. They should put on the site dogs cost 12 euros for the stay.

Price/quality was very good. We were happy to check-in at a nice time and no requirement of checking out. All went smoothly and the facilities seemed nice too, but we did use them as much. One of the best budget options in Freiburg for a single night and short stay to explore the city.

The location of the hotel was in an industrial zone, however there was not much noise.

Plenty of parking spots outside the hotel. Staff were very friendly. Bed was comfortable and room was well equipped with all the expected amenities.

The entrance via car is quite confusing and I missed it the first time around - you go to enter a service station but turn right whilst in the service station turnoff. Naturally the hotel is quite far from the city centre but for my purposes as a stopover it was fine.

I stayed in room 307. Larger than I expected with extra bedding if required. Well stocked vending machine. I liked the idea of no room key, using a keypad to gain entrance to the hotel after hours and room. The location was good for the nearby autobahn. Plenty of car parking. Walking distance from McDonalds, KFC and Burger King. 20 minute walk to Freiburg football ground. 3 minute walk from the bus stop.

The pod style shower was a little small for the larger person.

Good value for money, the bathroom was new-ish and qualitative, well optimized, good water flow. It's a good low-cost hotel but you need to be aware of this when booking

The parking fee (10€) I did not expect to pay

Maccas and burger king only close option for food, thats not the hotesl fault though.

The bed is comfortable. The room is clean. The staff in the reception is friendly. The only thing to know about is there is a hidden charge for parking of 10 Euros that is not included or mentioned in the description of our booking. Otherwise everything is good for a night stay.
