This was my second stay at the Rot Hof, and once again, it was a truly delightful experience. I had the pleasure of staying in a room kindly reserved for me a few days before by the lovely front desk manager, Lucijana — a heartfelt thank you to her! I had just arrived from the clinic after surgery and was quite limited in my mobility. The room turned out to be absolutely perfect for my needs. Even during the hot summer days, the comfort was remarkable — thanks to the park-facing windows and a fan thoughtfully provided by the staff, I felt very well cared for, despite the lack of air conditioning. Throughout my stay, I felt genuinely surrounded by warmth and kindness from the entire hotel team. Special thanks go to the charming Ekaterina — a cheerful ray of sunshine! She and her colleague Ana organized a lovely lunch for my wife and me in the cozy lobby bar, and we even got to enjoy a relaxed chat with them in Spanish, which made us feel completely at home. I had already been considering another trip to Munich a month later, and Ekaterina was so kind to show us a few room options and even reserve the one we liked most. I'm very much looking forward to returning to the Rot Hof!

This simply didn't happen.

Very quietly located with partial view of the park and - if you are lucky - free parking nearby along the street. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice. I also liked that our room came with a small fridge and spacious terrace.

Our stay was generally comfortable, but a couple of small inconveniences detracted from the experience. The room was noticeably dark, and housekeeping had seemingly never addressed the missing lamp. When we requested one, none were readily available. Additionally, the TV did not support external connections, with an unclear reference to "data protection law" as the reasoning. This explanation felt questionable, and we were disappointed that we couldn’t enjoy our own music or movies during our stay. While these issues were not major, a bit more attention to detail and flexibility would have improved the experience.

The hotel was very nice. Very nice location. Easy access to banks, shops and public transport. The restaurant was great, and so was the breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Rooms are a bit small. No cupboard to hang your clothing, just a small space for some coats. You have access to the gym and sauna but there is no explanation of how these facilities operate. When I wanted to go Sauna it was off. No water fountains in the gym. Paid lockers. No signs showing you where to enter the building. The equipment was very good though.

Some of the staff were delightful, others, when we requested some flexibility around checkin times not so. The room was fine, but you had to order housekeeping to come and do the rooms (again the person who came was charming and efficient). The location was great for us with a big park (which had a playground which our 2 year old grandson loved) behind the hotel, free parking on the street outside. The walk to the metro and shopping mall was about 10 minutes. The WiFi worked well and the breakfast choice was sensational.

What an oasis in the middle of Munich! This hotel has also one of the nicest and friendliest staff I ever encountered. My wife and I go to Munich often on business. On one of our trips we came back to the hotel tired, just wanting a dinner and go to sleep. On that day the hotel had an event so a quick dinner wasn't possible, but the staff took care of us and called to a few nearby restaurants and immediately got us a reservation. On the day we did have dinner at the hotel, the food was amazing. Same goes for breakfast. My wife also a really light sleeper and we typically request a quiet room, but rarely get it. This is one of the rare occurrences where we actually got a quiet room and my wife was able to sleep through the night. We'll be returning to Rothof whenever we're in Munich!

The accommodation was excellent. I stayed in an annex with a lovely small garden leading into a larger one. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with an outstanding selection of fresh bread, fruit, cheese, drinks — I’ve stayed in many hotels, but this breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had. On top of that, the weather was beautiful, so we sat outside overlooking a gorgeous “zen” garden. Even though we were in the city, the greenery made us feel close to peaceful nature.

We chose the hotel for it's location, between the centre and the ICM and it's excellent public transport connections with both. We also enjoyed the park setting and lovely garden, where we had dinner. The apartment was well appointed, the kitchen adequate, but coffee/tea and basics, would have been appreciated, as we left for the congress too early in the morning. The staff deserves special mention - from check in, to helping with documents, as well as the restaurant - thank you very much!

The staff was welcoming and I instantly felt at home. The hotel has a family home feeling, the rooms are spacious and feel cozy. I am a light sleeper so I requested a quiet room facing the garden. I could sleep with the window open because it was so quiet, a really nice experience. I also loved the legit gym and sauna space. You have to ask for it at reception but it's legit! They even have tennis courts.

The hotel was very nice and within walking distance to bus and train lines. The rooms are clean and quiet. The staff was very courteous and helpful with any questions we had.

When checking in the desk mentioned the hours when breakfast is served. They didn't mention that it was not included in the price. My wife and I ate breakfast every morning, which was a very nice spread , and were presented with a bill for $156 upon checkout that we weren't expecting. We realize that we should have asked first and that was our mistake but it still stings a little.

We enjoyed our stay. It felt very homely just a short distance from the busy city centre, which was very easy to reach by train. The staff was friendly and helpful; breakfast was very good. Our room was spacious and quiet. We would love to visit again.

It is personal, but I think the pillows and duvets can be a bit fluffier and even bigger.
