Perfect location

Breakfast way to busy and to small… also a lot of things where missing like bacon and huge waiting lines for the coffee and juice machine. For the rest it was good. But not worth 250,- euro for a single night with breakfast in a standard room.

Location. Conveniently situated within a short walk of Oberhausen hbf (Central DB Station) Modern facade with a number of nice places to eat Within a short walk. Rooms are well appointed and cleaned every day unless advised otherwise.

Breakfast is OK but hot dishes were not to my personal liking. The hotel does not have any social area...just a few comfortable seats in front of the TV. and a small bar. The local area has a high Muslim population and their character is reflected in the local shops and limited number of bars, although alcohol is available in most cafes & restaurants. The hotel only serves breakfast and to the best of my knowledge does not cater for lunch or dinner.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean, which made a great impression. The beds were very comfortable, and we all got a good night's sleep. The breakfast was satisfying, offering a variety of choices, and it was nice to see a full spread to start our day. Overall, we felt that the experience was worth the price.

The pillows were too soft for our preference, which made it a bit uncomfortable. The room was also quite warm, and unfortunately, the thermostat didn’t work, forcing us to open the window. This led to some energy waste and occasionally allowed the smell of cigarette smoke to drift into the room. These small issues took away from what could have been an even better experience.

We chose this accomodation for Taylor Swift's shows in Gelsenkirchen. Very nice and modern hotel; the first one we stayed in that has hardwood floors in the rooms! It's very clean and our room was bigger than we anticipated. Even in the rush of concertgoers staff remained friendly and is available 24/7 so we were able to check in when we returned from the arena in the middle of the night (we did check with staff before-hand). Parking was easy in the garage next door and tickets need to be validated/paid for in the hotel. Access to the parking garage is unlimited but in order to leave staff does need to validate your ticket. Great access to main roads and public transport from the hotel. Shopping and restaurants are also nearby. Breakfast was nice with extensive choices of hot meals, cereals/muesli, sandwiches, fruits, juices, coffee and more and staff coming to clean tables regularly. Overall a really great experience.

The area. The neighborhood is not very nice/clean to walk around in.

Everything about this hotel was exceptional... from the friendly lady on reception who spoke perfect English with me and allowed me into my room early (give her a raise/bonus!) to the free tea and coffee area in the lounge, to the super clean rooms with excellent sound proofing. I could not fault this hotel and I will stay there again the next time I am in town. Danke shun!

Nothing, it was a fantastic stay.

I am not easy to impress but the way this room was designed was really something! When you walk in you will not go "wow". But if you pay a bit of attention you will find out that everything is where it is supposed to be. Very nice color choice. Nothing extravagant or fancy, but rather to relax and enjoy! Very comfortable bed, quiet room, quite spacious! We did not have breakfast but I believe it was good too!

The stairs and the lift to/ from the parking. I don't know if this is part of the hotel but the sight and the smell were not nice at all.

The hotel was very clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi was good and quick. The room and air con were great..and the beds very comfortable. The hotel lobby has good social spaces for friends to meet up and chat. I did not eat breakfast in the hotel ( but it looked good!)

I had emailed booking.com that there would be a kettle etc in the room and was told there was but on arrival there was none. However reception did have 24/7 free tea/coffee making facilities

Everything was great. The only thing I need to point out is the A/C. I reported that my a/c wasn't working, so one of the lady from the front desk came to my room and tried to adjust it but it did not work. She told me if the a/c didn't work i could just easily open the windows. I need to give a shout out to leana she did a great customer service to my entire family.

The breakfast buffet was the single best thing about the stay, otherwise it's a completely adequate "transit" hotel, good for breaking a long drive into more manageable bits. Room was a good size, nicely appointed and very comfortable. The interior space (great empty room) was a bit odd, but this was probably due to the hotel redecorating and in any case not a problem.

The only real complaint was the disgusting nature of the attached parking garage, which was smelly, overflowing with garbage and there was spit on the staircase banister. This was the case on both our visits, so it's apparently a recurring issue.

Very luxurious for the money, very satisfied, staff is nice and helpfull. I'd definitely go here again when I'd be visiting the Turbinenhalle.

The rooms weren't really close to each other, one room was like two halls away, 1 room was in the same hall though. Also there was a dead mosquito on the upper wall for a long time i think..
