Definitely the best room I have ever stayed in in my life. I have never encountered such a spacious, comfortable, quiet, dark room. I would dare to say that the room was designed to offer the best to the guest in an almost maniacal way, in search of the best that can be offered. Every inch of the room seems to have been made by an engineer because it is so perfect, in every way. Wardrobe in the entrance that I modified to be able to put coats and trousers inside so that they do not gather dust (obviously then put back as I found them). Safe, mini bar (both unused, I carry few liquids with me, I use the debit card for everything), fabulous toilet, lots of towels, an immense bathroom in which I immersed myself with pleasure after a long time😀 (with the cost of houses nowadays few people have a bathroom at home, a shower cubicle is better), lots of sockets in the bathroom for every need. New toilet paper, not used. My every wish was fulfilled. fulfilled: quiet room with curtains to make it dark. Nice TV with lots of channels, nice desk with everything you need to make tea or coffee (kettle, filters, cutlery, etc.) The staff is extremely kind and smiling, professional and attentive to the needs of the customer. Value for money - location is truly excellent. Looking for the hair in the egg would only be mean. Only positive notes, the best hotel I have stayed in in my life, and I have been to 3-4 star hotels. Great Hotel! We visited the Pompeji exhibit and wanted to stay in a hotel from which we could walk there. It was perfect! The bed was big enough to sleep in together with my child. The room had a mini fridge for our milk and sweet beverages. It was very quiet, and the bathroom was excellent for families with small kids, with a tub. The breakfast was amazing with a huge choice, seaweed salad for mom and chocolate chips and marshmallows for kiddo as an extra treat. We visited Legoland and Sea Life on the second day, and it was just a short drive. In short, excellent location, service, and amenities. We will come back!

Nothing; all was perfect

It was clean, the facilities overall are in good condition, the beds are also comfy. It's well located and easy to reach from the train station.

We called to find out if it's possible to stay there for 2 people if the room was booked for 1. Over the phone they said the charge would just be 5, at least that's what we heard. At the actual hotel they said it's 89 euros per night. We ended up paying 50 per night, because we didn't agree to 89. The overall impression was already spoiled after this anyway. The lemon water at the entrance was far from fresh, the lemons were close to rotting in it. Shower gel and soap were empty in the room and when we asked the hotel to give us more, they just ignored us and nothing happened. UPDATE: the hotel contacted us and refunded 90 euros back, they said it was a mistake that we were charged the extra 45 per night. I changed my original rating to a 9, it IS a good hotel overall.

The staff were amazing, so friendly, kind and helpful! I booked this as part of a Christmas present for my girlfriend and asked them to make the room special if possible and they left towel swans, a rose and a love heart made of petals on the bed, absolutely 10/10 for service!! The breakfast was unreal as well, so many great healthy and tasty options! I’m vegetarian as well so having the pumpkin hash with vegetarian chicken pieces in was a sensational addition to breakfast. Will 100% recommend to anyone!

Road outside was a little noisy but nothing too crazy!

The room was impressively spacious, providing plenty of comfort during our stay. The bartender was exceptionally friendly and always ready with a joke, making the evening even more enjoyable. The front desk team was also courteous and very helpful, which added to the overall positive experience.

The bar’s opening hours weren’t advertised anywhere, which was a minor inconvenience. Not a big deal, but worth mentioning

NH is my favorite 4 star hotel :) Everything lived up to my expectations. Very nice staff and there was free water downstairs! My room was big, with a very big and comfortable bed. I slept so much that I missed breakfast haha. There was a desk/ working space, with a lot of lights and plugs. A big tv, coffee, tea and a kettle and luckily also a fridge! High quality and everything is very clean and well taken care of, especially the bathroom. The location was a +10 minute walk to the trainstation and restaurants. The price was great too, I loved my stay here.

The only thing I didn't like was that there was no complimentary water bottle in the room. I feel like that was missing, I had to go downstairs to get some water.

My son loved breakfast, there was a great selection. For myself who is gluten free it was nice to find food I could eat and gluten free rolls and cereals, although they ran out of rolls on the Sunday. They did not have soya milk, only dairy and oat both of which I can’t have due to allergies.

The pillows could have been a bit bigger as they disappeared when you lay your head on them. One was a good size the second seemed small.

Good location within easy walking distance of the main station. Lovely breakfast area and comfortable seating in reception. Breakfast was excellent with a good range of food to choose from.

Our room felt a bit “tired” and the view was of another block of the hotel. We were attending a festival so happily didn’t need to spend too much time in our room.

The breakfast was excellent, and the room was nice and clean. The location wasn't too far from the Hauptbahnhof; I walked it in about 10 minutes. I had checked in online, so the check-in process was nice and fast.

The location of the safe - I must have slammed my head into it at least twice. Please put some rubber or something on that corner. The beds were alright, but the sheets were slippery and clammy in the heat.

The staff were very pleasant and the room was a large size with 2 desks which is very useful if there are 2 travellers. The breakfast 18 euros was a buffet that consisted of cooked sausages, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, cold meats, pastries and cereal was excellent.. There was no noise from outside. Stations was less than 10 minutes walk from Oberhausen Station. There was an easy to use safe in room. I would stay here again.

There was nothing i did not like.
