The approach to the hotel is a bit off putting because of current construction but the hotel itself was quite nice . The staff at reception was very friendly and accommodating . Our room #12 was very nice with great views of the forest behind the room . Room was big , clean and comfortable . Nice bathroom with good shower . Good breakfast but a bit confusing with ordering food the night before and then awaiting its serving in the breakfast room . On site restaurant was pleasant and was reasonably priced . We were allowed to put our bikes in our room without difficulty as the room was quite large .

Breakfast needing to be ordered the night before from a written list was a bit awkward .

Location for me was perfect and communication was great, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The place was so adorable with Christmas decorations. The view was from my room was lovely. The welcome gifts were perfect. I’m sad it was only a short stay but I am planning to come back again soon!

The room service was lovely but I’m fussy at breakfast and I ended up wasting food. The options were a bit limited

We booked two rooms for a family of four. The rooms are really big and comfy. They even gave utensils for the bathroom . I think it's run by a family and they were very welcoming. The topic (sea) is really held onto. We stayed only one night. We were skeptical about the breakfast policy, that they bring it to the room after you check the boxes (see attachment), but it was more than enough and very tasty.

I expected to see some water, since it's in the name 😅 The location is only good if you are traveling by car.

The room was very spacious and had everything you needed, even including a goodie bag with toiletries. Free parking. Friendly staff and AMAZING breakfast that was served in the room.

The wifi didn't really work and all outlets were far away from the bed (first world 2024 problems :)). It's a bit tricky to find where to turn from the street in the dark and because of the renovations it was very muddy and dirty on the way from the parking. But I think this shouldn't be a problem once everything is finished.

Room was great and looked recently updated. Beds comfy and overall had a great night's sleep. Check-in was easy and the lady who greeted us helpful and friendly (and spoke English well!). They're currently renovating another building which will be the restaurant, but until then they have a great solution: simple but delicious evening meal brought to your room (we had a couple of very delicious pizzas) along with a free coffee machine in the lobby and a selection of beers with an honesty box. After a long day riding a motorbike through non stop heavy rain, being able to just warm up and unwind in our room with a beer and pizza was the perfect end to the day! Breakfast was brought to our room the next morning and was all delicious with plenty to eat. Other nice touches are a goody bag of various toiletries etc for the weary traveller, tea and coffee making in the room, a fridge if you need it, slippers and even an orthopedic bed! We were just stopping for one night but we really enjoyed it. Car park had plenty of space and was flat and hard standing so no problems if, like me, you're on a motorcycle.

They're busy working on renovations of a second building so the area out the front doesn't look great, and no doubt they will sort out a better path from the car park to reception as they get closer to completion. Look beyond those first impressions and you won't be disappointed.

The hotel was outstanding, with many thoughtful details that made a big difference in the overall experience. Small gifts for children at reception, a travel kit in the room, and some sweets were lovely touches. The room was clean and very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast was excellent and delivered straight to the room. It's clear that the owners truly care about creating a comfortable and enjoyable stay for their guests.

We stayed at the hotel with our two children and two dogs. The hotel room was very good, we could sleep all together and still there was room enough. Also the daughter of the owner was very friendly and helpful. The appartment/hotel room was clean, the breakfast which was served at the hotelroom was extensive, and more then plenty! We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel, and all the above mentioned reasons. Even our children said to us “this was the best hotel we ever have stayed in”, we think because it is a family hotel and not a large chain hotel you can have the cleanliness and friendliness and homely atmosphere you would not have otherwise. We will absolutely come back to this hotel.

Such lovely staff and attention to detail! You really notice that they have a vision and real ambition to create something special. For dog owners it is a dream, you get beds, bowls, treats and i had a terrace room with a long leash for the garden. The food concept was great, you order what you want and they bring it to your room, coffee and other beverages are available anytime at the reception. TV in the room was huge and they provided a selection of things for the bathroom if you forgot anything.

Only suggestion would be to expand the selection of vegan/vegetarian options on the menue.

The family-held property with great service. The maritime theme makes the experience consistent. The rooms are well-equipped and modern, and breakfast is served in the form of room service. After the experience with big city hotels, it was refreshing. The environment is silent - nature.

There were some construction works at the time we were there, but it didn't mess up, it will be just better after.
