Centrality of the place. Everything in walking distance. Nice seating and atmosphere in the inner patio / courtyard. Parking nearby was very convenient and relatively inexpensive.

Staff appeared to be more concerned with getting to shift end than serving customers. While friendly, they ran around the courtyard bar outnumbering guests by 2 to 1, and it still took ages to be served. Then they took last orders at around 8:30 pm. At 9 pm the place was dead. The restaurant was not open for dinner that night either.

Great rooms, great staff and well appointed with bar, restaurant, fitness centre, etc. Great location close to old town, new town shops, harbour and bus station. Had a very nice dinner in the restaurant and several drinks at the bar. Both were really good. Didn't try the breakfast but imagined if would also be good.

Reception area was a bit small and too close to the bar area and tended to get crowded and busy.

We came here in the summer. Location is great for shops, restaurants etc. 5 - 10 minutes walk. Excellent food in the hotel. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Parking is very close to the hotel. Not far from the border of Denmark, which is worth a visit.

The pillows, they were so lumpy and uncomfortable to sleep. I did ask reception for a different pillow, but that was exactly the same. Towels are too small, had to use extra ones.

Great breakfast buffet where anyone can find what they like - warm, cold, sweet and salty breakfast type available. Perfect location right in the center. We had a beautiful view of the harbor.

We didn't know there's an option of a room with a little tricky access only taking small staircase. It didn't cause any troubles but people with handicap (even lower degree as in our case) should directly request a room on the floor where the lift goes to be on the safe side.

The location is perfect, with parking just a few meters away .The re-creation of the old post office has been lovingly done - modern up-to-date amenities and old architecture coexist beautifully .The breakfast buffet was very good, and there is more than enough seating for the guests, which is often a rarity...we loved our stay!

The facilities are top notch, but what stands out is the staff. Universally friendly and going out of their way to be helpful. The button for the large flush in our room was hanging a little, so we told reception. First response was an offer for another room. We simply suggested that they had a look at it and next morning the maintenance guy changed the whole flush plate and all was in order. The staff in the lobby bar also went out of their way to provide us with precisely what we wanted. The hotel is placed at the bottom of the Flensburg harbour and the main shopping street is half a block away. Great restaurants in the neighborhood, and the hotel breakfast was excellent. We will certainly be back.

Beautifully renovated old postal building in the heart of the city. The lobby is the former outside square. We arrived at 20:50 but it was no problem to order dinner! Very nice staff! Rooms are comfortable and clean, great shower.

Only thing we missed was a water kettle or small coffee maker. But perhaps more luxurious rooms have this.

A standard German , i.e. fresh and tasty, breakfast. Comfortable bed. Working wifi. Excellent location: between Fischerhafen and Musumsberg, 20 min walk from the train station.

One thing to improve: a coffee maker and a tea cattle in the room.

Great location and design. The rooms were very clean!

As an Aussie, we are used to having a kettle to make tea or coffee. There was a bakery just down the street so we went there to buy our coffee and top up our thermos for a days exploring.
