The Padborg Hotel was an unexpected delight when our travels delayed us in Padborg. It is the only hotel walking distance from the train station. It is very simple, clean, and the staff person (Selva?) was kind and welcoming. She tipped us off to a wonderful walking trail along the Danish/German border. Be sure to take this walk into the local forest! Dinner at Pizza Heaven across the street was also great. The menu is diverse and the staff were kind and welcoming. For breakfast, go to the bakery located in the supermarket. Great pastries and coffee. Both supermarkets in town have prepared salads and meals. Overall - we had a great 24 hours in Padborg.

This place is really close to the train station, and worked very well as a simple and good value place to break a long journey without dealing with the complexities of Hamburg.

This is a basic but functional place - don't expect anything fancy. I suspect the sound insulation between rooms is poor.

Great location during our trip from Germany to Denmark. The staff was very flexible and accommodating, and we are very grateful for it!

The lady at the reception/cleaning the rooms was incredibly friendly and helpful. She deserves 5 Stars and a raise!

A perfectly adequate bargain place to stop for the night. Small but clean rooms with comfy beds, perfectly good for the money.

Shared bathrooms only, unpleasant background smell in the room ( no evident lack of cleaning, though), not warm enough shower ( just reasonable temperature, though).

Big apartment. Practical location. Ok for a nights stay while on the road.

no blinds , shutters or anything to cover the window in one of the bedrooms, so not possible to make it dark. Also not possible to make it dark in the living room, for those sleeping there. Railway close to the hotel, so a lot of noise.

Bed comfortable. Room clean.

Some hot water in the shower would have been good. I arrived quite late after a long journey and couldn't have a shower.
