A well placed, functional hotel, clean, & dog friendly. There is a full cold buffet, fruit salad, breads, jams, vegan spread, etc. the coffee machine also has oat milk. I marked for a vegan breakfast in the special requests and they very kindly also provided a salad and cheese plate. Parking is over the road from the hotel, 10 euro per night, pay at hotel and they give you an exit ticket.

The location was right by the harbour and the old town. The room on this first stay was a little cramped but clean and well maintained. The staff were super friendly and helpful. There is a public car park over the road which the hotel has an arrangement with so parking is cheap.

Nice little hotel in a beautiful location. Service is very friendly, rooms are clean. Breakfast selection was a bit limited but OK for the number of guests. Our planned stay was only one night, we arrived late, and this the hotel was a perfect starting point for relaxing walk in the city center and harbor, and to find good restaurants. Overall, our stay was very pleasant.

The only issue I'd like to point out is the size of the room. Space between wall and bed was so small that it was difficult to get around.

A great location to explore the city, just a short stroll from the waterfront and the city centre. Staff were friendly and helpful, we arrived early so the room was not available, but we were able to park the car and explore the city. Staff gave us some helpful advice and a street plan. The room was modern, quiet and spacious with comfortable beds. Facilities were good. A good breakfast was served on the ground floor. Access to the car park was great being at ground floor level.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, the only thing was there was no bacon to the scrambled eggs. Everything else was good.

We paid for a comfort room, We thought that the bed was more wide than in a regular room, but it wasn´t. The rest of the room was great, big bathroom and bath.

This is the second time I have stayed here and I’ll keep coming back. Great location near to the shore and the centre of town. The rooms are small but more than adequate for an overnight stay and the breakfast is excellent. And the staff are very welcoming and helpful.

The bathroom in my room was cramped to say the least.

Hotel am Fjord in Flensburg is my top choice for accommodation. Its location is outstanding, and despite its compact size, it offers everything I need. The morning breakfast buffet is excellent. The staff are very hospitable.

No street noises, good local beer, center at your feet and a lively lobby with the European championship football/soccer live on tv.

The hotel Parking is only accessible for <1.75 m vehicles, and the public parking spots do cost some money /don’t do well when you aren’t from Germany with the apps.

I actually have nothing negative to say about my stay, we enjoyed every minute.
