Exceptionally well managed hotel! It’s easy to realize that many clever ideas are implemented. Beds are rather soft and comfortable. Foamy mattresses could be odd for someone. Breakfast is amazing. Every table is prepared as a small, private buffet. Boils eggs can be served according to your preference. Main walk street man can reach in 3 minutes walking. Few recommendations: - the hotel parking lot contains 14(?) bases; there are about 25 rooms; it’s reasonable to come early - room keys drops to the key box after inserting the code; this system works from 14:00. The key works both for front door and the room door - tea bags and 4 coffee capsules are refilled daily. The coffee machine and electric kettle are in the room

Self service made the hotel impersonal after noon. Work place is decent but not very comfortable if someone would like to work in the room. The hotel designation seems to be for tourists, not for business people.

Very clean place, comfortable family room on the uppermost floor of the house. It is located in a pretty part of Flensburg with cobble-stone streets, close to the water (Forde). Big breakfast served at the table!

It was nice that there is parking spot of the hotel but when we arrived it was already full and the next option close-by was paid parking with coins or apps that can be used only by locals. However, we were able to park the car in the end, so it is a only a minor issue, not hotel-related.

Almost everything was perfect … super clean, efficient, quiet and a really nice ambiance … highly recommended for those seeking these characteristics

I wax a bit surprised to be presented at breakfast with a plate full of meat and cheese, without being asked if I wanted all that … in this day and age, when more people are (luckily) choosing a planet-safe diet, I would expect a more sensitive approach to people’s choices of food!

Good communication regarding the check-in and pincode(s) for the room key(s). Everything worked well. Rooms were spacious, clean, modern with a good comfortable bed, plenty of pillows to choose from. The bathroom was clean, modern, with floor heating. Shower with good water pressure. Breakfast was excellent. Very pleased when we entered the restaurant all the tables were set up per reservation with plenty of items to choose from. Coffee was served and same for juices. You could get all types of fresh made eggs at your choice. Day of check in we also ate at the adjoined restaurant (were als the breakfast was served the next morning) it is a shared dinning concept, but if you order two dishes per person like we did you have a very good meal. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

The rooms were completely new and fresh, apparently, there was a huge renovation recently. Spotless clean and, because the hotel is located in the old living district, it is very quiet there. Breakfast was a usual European breakfast with typical breakfast type food (cheese, sausage\ham, eggs etc.), but I really liked the way it was served, the woman individually serves you at your table, so you don't need to stand up and walk with the plate. Also, since Flensburg is not a very big city, there is no problem for you to get to the city. Also the price for the room was great, the price/quality ratio is the best.

Unfortunately, it is a little bit hard to connect to the wifi (WLAN). My Apple devices told me "Unable to join the network", but on the 5th attempt, they connected. Apparently, you must just turn on your phone and just give it some time, so it could on its own connect to the Internet.

Checking-in is with a key code, which you get by email/sms on the day of arrival (no reception, but there is always some staff to help you), good breakfast, good wifi, close to the city centre, some parking space for 8-10 cars.

The restaurant is closed on Wednesday, which wasn't mentioned on the booking.com website (the fine print). There are a lot of restaurants in the city centre, so it wasn't a problem, but when a hotel has a restaurant, I think it should mention on the booking.com website when the restaurant is closed.

The room was big and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Check in was very easy. Hotel was quiet and in a very safe and quiet neigborhood but also very close to city center. The breakfast was very nice and staff helpful. We were allowed us to stay 30 minutes longer at check out.

The sofabed was very squeaky - it kept us all awake through the night every time my 12 year old daughter moved in the sofabed. The hotel might want to check that out. Checkout time is at 10 which is a little early.

This is a cosy and quaint hotel in a good location. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was quiet and a good base for our trip. We would stay here again.

The extractor fan in the bathroom took about 20 minutes to go off, after the light had been switched off. The bathroom was a weird design that made it very cramped, although there was sufficient space if the sink had been in a better position. The breakfast was a bit limited.

The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The room was fine and the breakfast very good indeed.

Found gaining entry difficult. It is over-dependent on having a smartphone. I prefer meeting a host or receptionist! But I understand that it cuts costs.

Quaint little place off the main road and super quiet, guarantees a good night sleep. the breakfast was plentiful and the waitress very attentive. My room was small, very nicely decorated. Equipped with mini fridge and coffee / tea maker - not many small or for the matter large places have that in Germany. Everything was clean.

The 90cm single bed. 120 would be great for an adult, bumped my head a couple of times night on the wall.
