We arrived late after a rather long journey from Hamburg Airport. On arrival 2 tired people were met by a lovely man on reception. He simply said "why don't you head over to the restaurant and we will take care of everything". There was no pressure to check in and sign. So on return we went to our room where our cases were waiting for us. We were immediately relaxed and it was a great start to our holiday. The room was sumptuous and everything worked perfectly. Staff were friendly and professional. The breakfast was fabulous. Even the owner came to chat to us over dinner to see if we were enjoying our stay. The garden was an oasis and the roof top pool was fabulous. Sellin itself is beautiful. The architecture was amazing. Binz, Baabe and Gohren were also lovely. Prora is a must to visit and take advantage of the cycling and the steam train is wonderful. Linking the resorts. Thankyou Roewers.....we hope to be back soon.

Nothing - everything was excellent.

Breakfast was lovely, staff were very attentive and friendly. The whole place was excellent. Situated on the "main" street of Sellin. approx 5 minutes to the beach/promenade, lots of restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Supermarket and train station- 10 minutes. The hotel has bikes you can rent also. A great location for a relaxing break in a quiet little town.

Wonderful pool and spa area, excellent service and food. We loved that the breakfast was open until noon.

Beautiful pool and sauna, this seems to be a recent addition to the spa area. Wonderful hotel staff, very kind and welcoming!

The rest of spa is rather old and nothing special. We did not spend as much time there as we hoped. Also spa opens only at 2PM. We had food at the bistro - it was ok but really not great. Breakfast is ok, the breakfast area was so crowded though, that it did not feel great and many things were missing from the buffet. Room was way too warm for us - and there is no switch to adapt the temperature. But there is a window thankfully! Still not a five star experience all in all. Unfortunately. The greatest shock was when we found out from other guests that they booked the stay for almost half the price we paid. I felt a bit stupid to overpay like that.

Very clean and the Spa, Swimmingpool was great!

The room was very warm, and there was no air conditioning, which was quite surprising in this price category. As soon as the windows were opened, a lot of mosquitoes and spiders came in. The spa was closed for half the day due to repairs, which should have been communicated in advance. Unfortunately, the receptionist was so unfriendly that I forgot to ask for his name! He was so unfriendly that even my kids recognized it.
