Hotel is new and extremely clean and well kept. The location is an old historical building but the rooms feel premium. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is just perfect. Parking is free.

We stayed during April. It was not possible to control air conditioning, and it started by itself at about 8.30 (we were already up) and it was kinda loud. Some smaller things, like a small step before the bathroom and the fact that the main door to the room is heavy and shuts down pretty fast, so looks a bit dangerous for kids.

Lovely new hotel which had great furnishings, and big rooms. Really loved the rooms in the Stadl. Staff were super friendly and even though we were a large group with kids also, they did it with a smile, and were very accommodating. Not too far to drive to Prien and other areas around the lake - we even hired bikes one day and cycled back to the hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and a large selection of hot and cold options with a coffee machine.

The wifi blocked certain things such as emails and accessing intranets, which made it slightly challenging working from there, but on the other hand could access Zoom calls. Also no air con in the rooms, which made it a slight issue, as we couldn't open the windows due to the mosquitos, but only an issue on super hot days - otherwise it was absolutely fine.

Well taken care of hotel, renovated in a stylish and modern way. It is well located for a holiday in Chiemsee area. Facilities seem like new and beds are very comfy. Especially, comfortable for a family of 3, there is a bigger room with 2 rooms in it. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant serves great breakfast or dinner.

The hotel is located in a quite remote small village. Thus the environment was very calm and relaxing. The room was nicely designed. All was clean. The inhouse restaurant served a great breakfast and meals during the day as well. We loved it.

Wifi was not working well. Due to weak internet connection Netflix didn’t work during the whole stay as well. Should be improved and the secured wifi connection provided.

Perfect place for a short stay. Wonderful breakfast and very good restaurant in the evening! A bit unusual but very interesting architecture

Upon arrival, we were very impressed with this hotel! Beautifully renovated, spacious and stylish. Comfortable stay and good breakfast.

The hosts were not very pleasant. I guess, a foreign mother with 2 teens are not their typical clientele. We felt unwelcome and definitely will not go back there.

This hotel and restaurant deserve an extra plus on the 10 out of 10 . The very old government building has been converted into a very updated and modern hotel with the original old exterior and a very well designed and engineered interior which is aesthetically pleasing and very comfortable. Rooms are large and clean , bright and comfortable. Bathroom is modern , clean and bright . The restaurant serves an excellent and diverse menu at a very reasonable price point . Great inside and secure bicycle storage . The best part of this excellent hotel restaurant is the staff . The reception was very friendly and helpful . One of the owners , Alex Häusler , who we had the opportunity to meet and speak at length with was a great host - full of knowledge and local history and was a pleasure to speak with . His English was much better than my German . Will return to this place whenever we are in the area on one of our bicycling adventures in Bavaria ,

Only wish that we could stay for a few more days . We will do so next time .

The renovation was sympathetically done to ensure the building remained the key feature, it had a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. This was due to those who work there. Thank you to everyone.

We loved our stay in this beautifully restored building. Easy parking, great, quiet and very comfortable room, good food in the restaurant. Breakfast great, check-in and -out fast and easy.
