Location fantastic. Room fittings very good. Bed super comfy. Lots of storage space in bathroom. Balcony to sit on lovely. Super clean throughout room and hotel. Breakfast superb!

Car park for hotel is busy as also a public car park. We did arrive in a bank holiday so even busier. That said we did get a place after a short wait. Soundproofing between the rooms is poor. We had to listen to a movie 1 night as though actually in our room. We were unsure about asking them to turn the TV down as these things can become difficult plus it would have been in a foreign language. Reception also not 24 hours so just decided to jam the ear plugs in

- Staff was super friendly and helpful - We had a really big terrace with plenty of room for all of us to sit - The overhead light was able to dim and also had a ventilator in it, which you could change the rate of and both were able to be used independently of the other in the Double Room (in the single room the overhead light/ventilator was not able to be used separately from each other), There was overall smart lighting in the room. e.g. closet door had a light if you opened the door. - There was a Dyson ventilator which helped a lot to cool the room down - They had dog bowls on hand - Breakfast buffet had many options and super delicious. They even had raw honeycomb which I've only seen at one other place before, and they had kaiserschmarrn for breakfast one day which I've never seen before. - They were super dog friendly, dogs were allowed in both the steakhouse restaurant and at breakfast - The steakhouse restaurant is connected to / related with the hotel somehow which is very convenient - Electric chargers available for electric cars - Appreciated the cleaning, the room was cleaned for us every day and they helped e.g. get the water from the rain of the cushions from the outside chairs, provided fresh towels as needed and just helped got rid of sand and dog hair from the dogs. - There was a small empty fridge, which gave us space to store dog food and a few other things. - Location right on the pier where there was much going on and dogs are allowed only on leash but they ARE allowed in the water so I used a long leash and it was perfect, with a great view on the mountains as well

- The bed's mattress was much too soft for both myself and my father. Our bodies were complaining. My sister loved it though. - There are too many mosquitos in Chiemsee which is obviously not within anyone's control but we kept the windows or at least the screens closed and the cleaning staff at some point opened a window to help cool down the place, which was much appreciated, but they didn't close the screen again which allowed more mosquitos in.

Location is fantastic, right on the shore of Chiemsee and perfect to use as a base to explore and enjoy from as the harbour is just a short walk away. The staff were amazing, a warm greeting and genuine welcome on arrival and a beautiful little gift on leaving which was a lovely, welcome touch. Breakfast is great, a wide selection of fresh, quality local ingredients and dishes and taken with a view looking out over the lake. The rooms were clean, cozy, comfortable and very well equipped. We loved our time here and would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was outstanding! Really, the breakfast was the best we had during our 10 day tour from Salzburg to Munich. So much choice and presented perfectly. They went to a lot of effort to display the food to it's best. Beautiful view across the lake from the breakfast room windows. Nice little terrace outdoors. We didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening but was a lovely atmosphere. Perfect location to get the ferry to the Herenchiemsee Palace on the island. Well worth the visit. Good guided tour. We spoke to a man at reception (maybe the manager/owner) who said he had lived in London for a couple of years. Was nice to chat to him, very welcoming and open. Always nice to be greeted with a smile. Parking is good and easy at the hotel. Lovely room overlooking the garden with a balcony. Bathroom very nice.

The staff were very helpful. They met all my requests and went out of their way to be friendly. The room & shower room were very clean and I was warm. The bed was comfortable. I could use the wifi, too. The breakfast was amazing and I must have had seconds/ thirds! There was something for everything, such as croissants, boiled eggs, & a typical German breakfast. An indefinite supply of coffee from a machine was really good.

A bedside light would have been helpful as I don't like bright lights and getting up in the night would have been dark without thinking about other lighting in the bathroom. I couldn't seem to change the air con but I didn't ask to alter it. I could hear a few other occupants but didn't mind as I was only staying for a night & some noise is acceptable.

One of the best hotel breakfasts I've had in Germany, truly exceptional. Great view over the lake, close to the ferry dock. Friendly and helpful staff, the building had a lot of character. All in all a great stay, my friend and I would gladly come again.

The absence of an elevator and lack of AC. Fortunately the outside temperatures the weekend we stayed weren't too bad, but if we'd come the week before, during the heat wave, the lack of AC would have been a problem.

Our experience of the hotel was excellent. We had a comfortable, spacious room with a balcony and an impressive view over Chiemsee and with well-appointed, modern bathrooms. The breakfast selection was outstanding and we enjoyed the atmosphere in the adjoining restaurant for dinner. The location is outstanding, a few minutes stroll from the ferry terminal and in a convenient location for touring in the Chiemgau. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

- No bidet - No reception staff in the evening - THE WORST noise isolation ever - we were unlucky enough to have a couple of teenagers as neighbours and it was a nightmare, we could hear them ALL the time, even with our TV running. Thank god they were quiet at night but the entire afternoon, evening and the next morning we were in the middle of a two-person party 🤯 In our bathroom we also heard other neighbours 😬

The hotel has recently been renovated, featuring a bright bathroom and comfortable beds. The balcony offers a stunning view, and the location is extremely convenient. The receptionist was exceptionally nice and friendly. Furthermore, the breakfast was like a feast, offering a wide variety of delicious options. We really had a nice stay here.

The soundproofing of the rooms could be improved. However, we did not experience any particularly loud noises or disturbances during our rest.

Helpful friendly staff. Our room and bathroom was modern and comfortable and clean. We had a lovely deck with a view of the lake. A really nice place to stay. Ionela at the front desk was so sweet and kind.
