Great location - 15min walk from the train station (where there is a Lidl supermarket 1 min walk away), 3 min walk from the boat station, many restaurants around the hotel within walking distance. Comfy, homey hotel - very friendly, flexible staff; very clean room, comfy bed, I had a single room which is spacious enough. Breakfast was good and ample with scrambled/hardboiled eggs, different kinds of yoghurt, salami/ham/cheese, fruits/vege, bread, cakes, and coffee/tea/juices; the breakfast area was comfy and had a rustic vibe

Nothing really. Purely as a suggestion: perhaps provide a complementary bottle of water daily (though there is a payable beverage station on the ground floor, or one could go for cheaper options getting what's needed from Lidl supermarket closeby) and a basic water kettle in the room with complementary tea bags.

Nice hotel close to the lake Chiemsee. Excellent location for taking the boat tours to the islands. Also a short walk to the restaurants by the lake. And we would recommend walking 10 mins to the Prienavera Erlebnisbad with heated pools and sauna after a long day touristing.

Parking could be quite tricky, manoeuvring the car out when the car park was full was not easy. Apart from that all was very good.

The breakfast has a lot of choices for vegetarians! One of the best breakfast buffet I ever had, so impressed! The room is very comfortable and had a sunset view, perfect and convenient location for any Ludwig II fans who love to go to Herrenchiemsee. The staff are so friendly too, definitely want to come again!

Within walking distance to the boats for HerrenInsel. Great location, easy to find. Parking on site. No elevator but the stairs are manageable. Wonderful breakfast and great staff. We liked it so much that we booked it again on our return trip.

Nothing it is great.

- the hotel is right next to the lake. - the steam train is right next to the hotel and it will take you to the central station. Unfortunately this runs daily in summer and during the Christmas market days, otherwise it is about a 20 minute walk to the station. - reception and staff were lovely. - breakfast was nice and they have the original concept of putting some stuff in jars. The scrambled eggs were good over the weekend, however I was disappointed that they only had boiled eggs on Monday. - they have a restaurant and there are other restaurants and cafeteria close by.

- Right next to the train tracks where the tourist trains regularly goes by, making quite a bit of noise - Bathroom was of an older generation and the shower usually set the entire room under water

Really bad WiFi, and not just in our room. Even when I found a place with strong signal out in the hallway, it kept disconnecting. Tea bags were available in the refreshment room, but no hot water. No staff around after 6.

Lovely place. Pretty quiet, maybe due to low season and the train was not in service. Two mins walk to the pier. Restaurant and cafe opposite the hotel, small convenience store next door.

It’s a 10 mins bus ride from the train station. Or 10 euros by cab.

The stuff are friendly and very helpful. The location is great and the room is very comfortable.

The room lacks basic features: fridge ( i carry medication that needs refrigeration) and no kattle - though when I asked I was provided with a termos.
