Location is fantastic, right on the shore of Chiemsee and perfect to use as a base to explore and enjoy from as the harbour is just a short walk away. The staff were amazing, a warm greeting and genuine welcome on arrival and a beautiful little gift on leaving which was a lovely, welcome touch. Breakfast is great, a wide selection of fresh, quality local ingredients and dishes and taken with a view looking out over the lake. The rooms were clean, cozy, comfortable and very well equipped. We loved our time here and would definitely stay again.

Breakfast was outstanding! Really, the breakfast was the best we had during our 10 day tour from Salzburg to Munich. So much choice and presented perfectly. They went to a lot of effort to display the food to it's best. Beautiful view across the lake from the breakfast room windows. Nice little terrace outdoors. We didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening but was a lovely atmosphere. Perfect location to get the ferry to the Herenchiemsee Palace on the island. Well worth the visit. Good guided tour. We spoke to a man at reception (maybe the manager/owner) who said he had lived in London for a couple of years. Was nice to chat to him, very welcoming and open. Always nice to be greeted with a smile. Parking is good and easy at the hotel. Lovely room overlooking the garden with a balcony. Bathroom very nice.

The staff were very helpful. They met all my requests and went out of their way to be friendly. The room & shower room were very clean and I was warm. The bed was comfortable. I could use the wifi, too. The breakfast was amazing and I must have had seconds/ thirds! There was something for everything, such as croissants, boiled eggs, & a typical German breakfast. An indefinite supply of coffee from a machine was really good.

A bedside light would have been helpful as I don't like bright lights and getting up in the night would have been dark without thinking about other lighting in the bathroom. I couldn't seem to change the air con but I didn't ask to alter it. I could hear a few other occupants but didn't mind as I was only staying for a night & some noise is acceptable.

Helpful friendly staff. Our room and bathroom was modern and comfortable and clean. We had a lovely deck with a view of the lake. A really nice place to stay. Ionela at the front desk was so sweet and kind.

The hotel has recently been renovated, featuring a bright bathroom and comfortable beds. The balcony offers a stunning view, and the location is extremely convenient. The receptionist was exceptionally nice and friendly. Furthermore, the breakfast was like a feast, offering a wide variety of delicious options. We really had a nice stay here.

The soundproofing of the rooms could be improved. However, we did not experience any particularly loud noises or disturbances during our rest.

- No bidet - No reception staff in the evening - THE WORST noise isolation ever - we were unlucky enough to have a couple of teenagers as neighbours and it was a nightmare, we could hear them ALL the time, even with our TV running. Thank god they were quiet at night but the entire afternoon, evening and the next morning we were in the middle of a two-person party 🤯 In our bathroom we also heard other neighbours 😬

The breakfast was awesome. Stayed at Marriott on the trip too, and Schlossblick's breakfast was way better! Excellent location to the islands by the pier and the lake. Also we got excellent help in getting a taxi to the train station upon coming from the islands. The luggage was waiting in the lobby to be loaded and the taxi was there. They really walked the extra mile for us!

I had booked two rooms, and the one was supernice. I regret booking the same for the whole group. My mistake!

We actually liked everything, only during checkout time is was a bit uncomfortable, as the colleges in the hotel didn't commute with each other (one of the receptionist didn't leave a note about our payment) and we had to insist that we paid for the parking already the day before checkout.

We was going from Salzburg to Munich buy car, and needed to stay for one night somewhere in between of two cities. Now I can tell that it was the best decision, the views was amazing. We had a room with lake view and we definitely recommend it. The personal of the hotel was friendly. The breakfast was amazing, with lots of options. The bed was comfortable too. We was travelling by car so available parking option was a big plus, which cost 5 euros. If you are looking for a place to get a mental rest it’s a best option.

Good hotel to visit Herrenchiemsee. Everything was good during our stay, but a special mention has to made about the breakfast. At all my travels in hotels during 40 years, I have never seen such an abundant breakfast, enormous amount of choice, all fresh (also the scrambled eggs), top quality breads, jelly’s, fruits and yogurts. Even Hyatts, Hiltons and Marriott’s can learn something from this.
