The location is about a 15 minute walk from the main train station, but easy to get a tram to the centre. The price is OK for Potsdam and the rooms are comfortable and clean. But this is a very standard hotel that caters for coach trips.

We found the staff a little reluctant to attend to our needs. They seemed to hesitate as long as possible to the point of being rude, before asking how they can help. Even when the there was no one else waiting. We got a smile from the female receptionist but there was a young man on the desk when we checked out who really looked like he didn't want to be there and that it was all just a bit too much effort. A smile goes a long way to making a good impression. Breakfast was a complete free for all! There were obviously a couple of coach tours in, who had to be ready early. We went to breakfast around 8-9am, there were no tables to sit at. So many people trying to get food and getting in each others way. Breakfast was OK wqhen we finally got to sit down, but not outstanding.

Renovated, all brand new, rooms clean, cosy, nice lighting solutions. Great location; 12 min to central station, lots of buses and tram just at the doorstep. Many great eating places around.

Queues, queues and queues. Everywhere: check-in took around an hour due to the queues and just one person at the front desk. Queues at the breakfast, no place to sit, lack of glasses, coffee machines started auto cleaning, water was running instead of juices, no cutlery at times etc., meanwhile very few personnel running around trying to fix it all... Besides, breakfast buffet really basic, poor variety of foods.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and hospitality that instantly made us feel at home. The staff were exceptional—always attentive, friendly, and eager to make our stay perfect. The breakfast was an absolute highlight, offering a variety of delicious options that far surpassed our expectations. This is my go to hotel when staying in my beloved home town. The location is perfect with everything being in walking distance, even the S-Bahn for any trips to Berlin. There is also a well stocked supermarket next door. I also love that you can open the window and turn off the AC, which is great, but can be get bit noisy due to traffic outside. Also great for female solo travellers. Will book again for my next stay.

I think there was a problem with the mechanism on the door in the room next door, hence my wall and bed were shaking when the door was slammed shut, at one point at 2am in the morning. I believe there were 3 different occupants in the room during my stay, so I think it must be a faulty door, rather than a very strong person slamming it shut. I did report it to the front desk, however I did not have any problems like this during my previous stay.

The location was excellent. The beds were very comfortable with clean, soft bedding - and a choice of pillows :D The bathroom was nice with a lovely shower! Everything was spotlessly clean. We loved the furniture in the room. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay. The breakfast was good quality and I liked that there were plant-based milk options available (oat and soya milks). We liked the bar facility as a place to sit and chat.

The room was quite warm, and although there was air conditioning it didn't seem to be very efficient in bringing the temperature down much. But it didn't bother us too much as it wasn't a warm time of year and the window did open for ventilation.

Girl at your other hotel, was exceptionally nice & helped me all the way to the correct hotel including carrying my case & came on the tram to make sure I found it correctly. She deserves high praise it was unbelievably kind of her.

Breakfast was cold both days but otherwise perceptible. Choice of food in evening very limited if you don’t like pizza or pasta! Which I dont

location was great, close to the tram station and the main drag. Not far from the train station. Breakfast was good, although a little limited. There was a supermarket next door in case you need goods or alcohol

I hated the vegan soap selection. Kale body wash is not an aspiration. One of the lifts were down so it was only one functional lift.

You can't really go wrong with this place. It is located ideally; it only takes a few minutes to walk into the heart of Potsdam. The main railway station is also only a 7-8 minute walk. The hotel has a business-like lay-out; it is not the most romantic place in the world, but what it lacks in atmosphere it compensates for when it comes to cleanliness, efficiency and space. Staff is friendly and helpful. Housekeeping does a great job too. Excellent price-quality balance.

The hotel was in a great location to the tram and to the shopping/Dutch Quarters area. The hotel was also close to the different palaces via buses or trams. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a grocery store next to the hotel, if you needed any incidentals. We would definitely stay here again.

No real negatives. The room was small, but very manageable. The breakfast was nice with good food choices, but repetitive. We would stay here again.

The room was super neat, comfortable, the bed was excellent, for a person with asthma also so easy to breathe. Bathroom was clean and comfortable too, the room good size. Wifi was sufficiently fast which is also good. Everything worked very well and the location is central.

Lack of body lotion in bathroom was a small minus, for airline travelers with only hand luggage this is always a bit of an inconvenience as the skin dries up in the air and one cannot transport liquids but in small amounts
